Annabeth sighed as she waited for Percy on the beach filled from end to end with yellow-white sand and the bright,calm blue sea which glittered in the boiling sun.
"Annabeth" yelled her boyfriend of 5 years Perseus "Percy" Jackson son of Poseidon and twice savior of olympus, "sorry I am late,I had to stop Katie from murdering her boyfriend".
Annabeth just sighed and thought even though they are dating Travis has not played any less pranks on her then before … maybe slightly less Annabeth was jolted out of her thoughts when she heard someone call her name
"beth,Annabeth'
"Yes" she responded turning and smacking Percy right in the nose,"oops" she laughed as he looked at her with a look that said seriously before looking away from her, after around two minutes of being ignored she sighed as she turned his head to look back at her as she kissed him causing his eyes to widen as he started to kiss back before she pulled back and said with a smile
"Now seaweed brain what did you want to ask me"?
Percy started to look very nervous with sweat running down his face as he did not seem to be able to say anything before getting down on one knee and manage to stutter out
"W will you m m ma mary me Annabeth Chase"?
Annabeth was standing there stunned here was the man she had given her heart to kneeling on one knee and proposing to her.
"Hmm" she pretended to think "now that you mention it I have a secret that I have been meaning to tell you"
Percy started to stand up and said in an icy cold voice "who and why"?
Annabeth then threw herself at him unable to withstand that heart breaking look in his eyes "just kidding YES"
Percy began to cry as he slipped the ring onto her finger and he kissed her.
