Blue's POV

When I wake up it is the middle of the night, figuring that I won't fall asleep again I head to the human made lab. As I am walking I am joined by Delta, one of the co-scientists in our project. As well as the only other surviving member of our old pack.

"Couldn't sleep?" Asks Delta.

"Not exactly," I answered.

"Oh, what's wrong?"

"I was thinking about our old trainer."

"Owen? Why?"

"I never got to finish my duties as his Beta. Do you think he is alive?"

"Oh. To answer your question given the lifespan of humans I think that not only is he alive but he will come back."

"What makes you think that?"

"Well first and foremost he really enjoyed training us, and last but not least he genuinely cared about us."

We had just ended our conversation when we arrive at the lab. Once we get to the genetics lab I walk to the nearest scientist, a Dilophosaurus. "How is our little 'project' going?"

"We can't seem to isolate the problem," the Dilo says walking towards an old screen.

"Try changing the Adenine and Thymine base pair here," I say pointing to a base pair on the old screen with one of my claws, "To a Guanine and Cytosine base pair." We wait as the computer runs its simulation. It dings showing succes.

"Success! We have succeeded! Looks like you were right!" With that the entire lab starts celebrating, "Ten years of work has paid of!"

Several months later...

"Report," orders Blue.

"Vital signs stable, growth rate normal. All signs read nor- Wait his brain waves are off the charts! He is waking up!"

"It's too early. He's not ready. Just another week. Pump sedatives into the tank!"

Red's POV

I wake up in some sort of scentless orange goo, "What is this place?" I say looking out of the container at the flurry of movement outside, "Why am I here? I must be outside." Before I can attempt an escape I start feeling drowsy and I see darkness encroaching on my vision then nothingness.

Fifteen years later…

Who knew pranking a group of Pteranodons would cause me to get some unneeded exercise.

"Wait till your mother hears this!" cries one of them.

"One of you go ahead of him and try to stop him" cries another.

"There you are," say one as it comes out of the bushes in front of me.

In response I jump clear over the low flying reptile I then continue around a corner and through a narrow gorge. Causing all but one of the Pteranodons to pull up and avoid a faceplant. Resulting in only my accomplice following me.

"Wow that was quite an adrenaline rush."

"Yes Teran, it was."

"How'd you learn how to use the land like that?"

"Well ever since I first woke up in tha weird glasslike container 15 years ago. I knew, I just knew."

"You just knew what?"

"That I wanted to be… outside."
