Episode: 2x18 "Boom"
Spoiler alert: Slight Spoilers for the two-part event, meaning I wouldn't read if you haven't seen 2x17 "Tick Tick Tick" and 2x18 "Boom"

The sound of the explosion was still ringing in his ears as he raced up to Beckett's apartment. Up the stairs, around the hall, finally crashing down into her door. He suppressed an "Ow' as he scrambled to his feet, carefully stepping around the charred apartment "Kate...Kate!" he called, looking around frantically. He hoped, prayed she had somehow gotten far enough away from the blast to at least be alive. He tried looking for any sign of life, the movement of a wooden board, an answer to his call, one more time "Kate!", even…a cough....a cough? He whipped his head around towards the bathroom, and he raced towards it, moving as fast as he could careful not to trip over the rubble.
Castle ducked to avoid a few boards of wood that were still burning as he called once more. "Kate?" He watched, relief washing over him, as her hand slowly crept up out of the metal shape Castle assumed was her bathtub, gripping the edges to support herself. He barley registered his breathless "You're alive…" that escaped his lips as he moved to help her up. He pushed the large wooden shape that was blocking her out of the way, (which if he had cared to look, he would've seen was a door), and moved a little closer.
She coughed again, dust rising around her. She stayed crouched in her metal tub; her knuckles were still white from bracing herself. He felt his heart break as he looked at her battered form. There were scratches, burns and bruises on her back, dust in her hair and…. no clothes on her body. "Oh…And you're naked…" he said quickly, jumping back a bit.
"Castle! Turn around!" Beckett yelled, turning around in the tub slowly, gripping the edges to support her self.
He did as she asked, his mouth gaping open, feeling heat creep up into his face.
Damn she was fine.
Authors Note: Well, Thank you so much for reading! It's been awhile since I've written a Fanfiction. Re-reading an old one I wrote for Castle had dampened my spirits, since in my opinion, it sucked! Haha! But Episode 2x18 inspired me, so I decided to write this. I had to rewatch this scene about 6 times so I could be sure I got it right. xD If anyone has any feedback on how to improve this, I'd appreciate it!
