A/N: Hi! OK..so I am an avid reader of FF (and an avid reviewer but I did that before I had an account so they were all anonymous) but this is my first time actually writing a FF story. So, sorry if it's terrible. I hope I don't ruin CM for you. Because that would be a tragedy.
So this is about Morgan/Reid. If you don't like them together then don't read. Basically, Morgan's been shot and it all sort of goes from there. Not sure about the details yet. But this all takes place back when the team was normal. Before *shiver* Agent Seaver. Before Emily "died" and before JJ left. I think most of my FF's will take place back then.
Spoilers: I don't think there are any. Rating: Not sure. Maybe "M"?
Also...obviously...I don't own criminal minds. I wish I did. Because then I'd be rich. And JJ and Emily would never have left/ "died". And I could get rid of Agent Seaver. But no. I'm just borrowing. Unfortunately.

Almost Gone- Chapter 1
Morgan's POV
The scarlet liquid drained his body of energy and life. It soaked his shirt and puddled on the floor underneath him. For the first time in his life the warm and vibrant tanned man was cold and pale. He was without his signature smile that sent woman and men everywhere swooning; it's replacement a pained grimace. There was nothing he could do. It was too late. He was sure of it. So he just lay there. Silent. Helpless. Alone. Dangerously still. Almost gone.
Reid's POV
How could this be happening? It was usually him. It should have been him. Not Morgan. Anyone but Morgan. The idea of losing him…the thought of not waking up to his sleeping body…it just…he couldn't even think about it. And he didn't have to. Morgan wouldn't do that to him. There was no way. He wouldn't leave him. He promised he wouldn't.
Ok, I'm sorry that that "chapter" was so short but I will try to update soon (hopefully tomorrow.) And I'm sorry that my A/N's have been longer than the actual chapter.
