~The Tale of the Darkened Heart~
~By Sunny-Lozza~
He sat facing the window, a smug smile on his face as he watched the happy children run around happily below. A small porcelain cup of tea sitting delicately in his long fingered hands, occasionally being raised to his lips and drunk from. The mischievous thoughts that ran through this man's mind began to formulate a plan, and it was, well, an evil one at that.
The Man's violet eyes drifted towards a large glass greenhouse, where the five members of the student council –or Guardians - of his school, sat having a meeting. He smirked when the youngest girl of the group – known as Yuiki Yaya – stood up excitedly, her chair falling backwards, hitting the ground. The other guardians all laughed at the young girl as she obviously talked animatedly.
How easy would it be for this supposedly harmless man to manipulate these children's hearts? Simple enough, it would be, and the result would come quickly. Quick and easy, that's how Amakawa Tsukasa liked things to be.
Would it be seen as heinous to set the wheels of his plan into motion by first using his own Nephew? Tsukasa's violet eyes looked down at the Royal Garden again, now hurriedly seeking out a certain blonde haired boy. Tsukasa smiled arrogantly again when his eyes rested upon the boy. Tadase smiled, before laughing with his friends at the ace's antics, before his crimson eyes seemingly hovered back over to the pink-haired joker absent-mindedly.
Tsukasa knew of the so-called 'love' Tadase felt for the joker, but to Tsukasa, love was nothing. He had loved, and he had lost. Why should he be one of the scarred ones, while everyone else gets happiness?
Yes, Tsukasa had been engaged once. For several blissful months, he and his fiancé lived together, planning their imminent wedding. Tsukasa had never felt so fulfilled in his life, as Manami and he lived their lives together, hoping to spend the rest of them with the other.
For Manami, this was such the case. Within days of the wedding, she was struck down by a car and died in hospital. Tsukasa, grieved for months, not leaving the house after saying a final good bye to his beloved. He cut himself off from the world, which was one of his biggest mistakes, or in his opinion, one of his best choices.
The forced solitude turned Tsukasa bitter, resentful, and full of vengeance. He doesn't know who too blame for Manami's death, but he does not care. He is going to blame society as a whole. If Society wasn't against him from the start, maybe the tragic death of his first and only love wouldn't have come to pass.
Tsukasa smirked again, as the school bell rang signalling the end of break. Watching his blonde-haired nephew stand up, and begin to head to his classroom, with the Joker walking next to him, blushing profusely. The two stop and laughed again, Tadase's cheeks now turning slightly pink. The Prince's eyes drifted up to Tsukasa's window absent-mindedly and he smiled at the chairman warmly, before looking back to his companion and leading her into the school building.
That small friendly gesture from the mature boy was enough to make Tsukasa put down his tea cup and pulled out some paper, a sapphire blue fountain pen and begin to write. This plan would work, in every aspect.
It was time to make society pay for what they did his beautiful fiancé, and Amakawa Tsukasa knew exactly how to do it.
