I rushed into my house excited. It was finally the night. I had to make sure nothing went wrong. I went in and ran to the kitchen.
"Hey Kagome." my mom said. "Back from feudal Japan?"
"Yeah" I said. "Do you have the sodas and chips?"
"Yep." she said showing me the bags and 2 liter sodas. "Well, where are you guys going to sleep?"
"I thought just in the living room." I said taking the bags and 2 liter sodas. I looked at the clock and saw that it was about 6:45. 'Only 15 more minutes.' I thought. I went to my room, to get all the extra stuff. I got a plastic bottle we'd used before, when Hojo came to one of our slumber parties. We didn't know if he was going to but we could never be too prepared. I walked down to see Souta about to open the potato chips.
"Hey!" I said. "Souta, keep away from the chips! Unless you want to serve them." He got this face of disappointment as he walked away. I put the bottle on the table, got a bowl for popcorn, and picked out some movies. Suddenly, I heard someone knocking at the door.
I got up and ran to the door, excited as to them being here. I ran to the door and swung the door open only to have my mouth drop. Standing there was Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku, Shippo, Sesshomaru, Rin, Kohaku, Kagura, and Kouga. As I saw all of them my eye started to twitch.
"This is not happening." I said freaking out. "Inuyasha, what are all these guys doing here?"
"Well, it's actually a long story." he said. "You see, we were sitting by the well, and Miroku…"
"Hey!" he said interrupting.
"As I was SAYING, Miroku wondered what your time was like. Then as soon as we were going to jump in Sesshomaru and Rin came, with Kohaku and Kagura close behind. Kouga had come to the village, looking for you and said that he had to come along. I tried to reason with them but they wouldn't leave. So that's basically it." I just looked at him then at everyone else.
"Well, you guys have to go." I said. "My friends Yuki…"
"Wait, you have friends coming over?" Miroku said. As he said this a lecherous smile spread across his face.
"Miroku!" Sango said angrily. "I don't want you getting any ideas."
"Well me and my friends are having a sleepover…" I began to say again.
"I'm staying." Miroku said coming in.
"Uh, excuse me!" I said as he barged in. "Inuyasha."
"Hey, I actually wanna stay." he said. "Your friends are cool." He came in as well, this time pushing me out of the way. "Come on guys." he said waving all of them in. I watched as all of them came in and my eye began to twitch again.
"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, NO!" I said. "You guys have to get out NOW!" Suddenly, all the demons, which were most of the people, looked at me angrily as I just backed away. "Or you guys could stay." I said worried one of them might attack me or my house. Shippo suddenly saw all the things on the table and ran over to them.
"Hey, Kagome!" the young fox demon said excitedly. "What's this stuff?"
I walked over to him and said, pointing to the soda. "This is soda, it's a bubbly drink that tastes like sugar water and each has it's own flavor!"
"COOL!" he said excitedly. Suddenly, I heard the doorbell ring and I bit my lip.
"Inuyasha, put your hat on!" I said tossing him his hat. "It's probably them and I can't have them see you ears. I ran to the door and opened it to see Yuki, Eri and Ayumi. "Oh, hey guys." I said nervously. "I hope you don't mind I brought some friends of… Inuyasha's."
"Wait, Inuyasha is here?" Yuki said.
"Oh, hey guys." Inuyasha said coming up, fortunately with his hat on. "Come on, the parties just starting. Oh, but just a word of advise, stay away from the guy in the purple robe."
