A/N: I promised this to Chantel (StarSixtyNine) like a week ago, so here you go, hon.

Hope you all enjoy!

Chantel was in the middle of cleaning up the kitchen when she heard a crash. Immediately, she straightened up. Thinking maybe she'd heard wrong, the brunette went back to wiping down the table.

Suddenly…..THUD!

Chantel sighed and threw down the rag in exasperation. She stomped angrily through the kitchen and made her way downstairs, slamming the door behind her. Matt was never usually this loud, which was exactly why Chantel was angry. She didn't mind when he went down to the basement to work on stuff, but being this loud on a Saturday, which was supposed to be a lazy day anyway, greatly annoyed her.

"Matt, what are you--?" she began before realizing that she and Matt weren't alone. A quick glance around the room revealed that Shannon, Jeff, and Helms were there as well, hiding in the shadows.

"What's going on?" The California native demanded. "Why the hell are you guys being so loud?"

"Uh, sorry, babe," Matt stammered. "We didn't mean to be so noisy, right, guys?"

Three other heads nodded emphatically.

"You didn't answer my question," the woman replied. "What the hell was all that noise?"

Shannon was the first to speak, albeit a bit timidly.

"We were just rasslin', and Jeff tripped and knocked the shelf over." He pointed to a shelf that had once held paint cans and other things, that was toppled over on the floor.

Chantel raised an eyebrow.

"Uh-huh." She paused for a minute, then continued, "That better be ALL you were doing."

"It is," Matt answered. "Me and Helms were playin' pool, ain't that right?"

Gregory nodded and pointed at Shannon and the youngest Hardy.

"Matt's telling the truth, Chantel. Those fools made the mess and all that noise."

With a sigh, Matt walked over to his girlfriend, and kissed her softly.

"Sorry about them," he whispered, so that the others couldn't hear. "We didn't mean to bother you. I tried to tell them…."

"It's all right," Chantel replied. "Just make sure they clean that up."

"I will." He smiled. "Tell ya what, how 'bout me and you go out to eat after I get rid of them?"

His last remark was apparently heard, because Shannon piped up,

"Dude, you are so whipped." No sooner had the statement slipped out of his mouth than Jeff punched him. "Ow. What the hell?"

Chantel burst into laughter at that.

"You guys are morons." She turned her attention back to Matt.

"Yeah, dinner sounds great." A smile lit up her face. "I'll go get ready."

"All right," Matt moved in to kiss Chantel once more.

He turned to his friends and his brother after Chantel was gone and, very sternly, ordered,

"Guys, do ya'll mind? I'm gonna go get ready too."

Shannon blinked, his eyes wide.

"Man, you're serious? You're gonna ditch us for a chick?" He shook his head.

"Aw, you're just sore because no decent woman would wanna be around you," Gregory said, as he pushed Shannon out the door. "Later, Matt."

"Yeah, man, I'll talk to you later," Jeff clapped his brother on the back.

"Give us all the horny details later!" Gregory yelled as he made his exit.

"Matt!" the Hardy Boy heard his girlfriend yell. "COME CLEAN UP THIS MESS!"

Oh crap…
