(A/N: First chappie is a lil short, I will admit, but don't let it get you down! I'll make up for it along the way! Please read and review for every chapter you do read, it really make my day! I do not own Fruits Basket. But most importantly...ENJOY!)

Kidnapped…at the age of thirteen…by a man…who shall remain anonymous. Oh, not because I am protecting his identity, but merely due to the fact that he does not exist, for…there is no man out there by the name of 「あさの まさる」. The name he had given me…it was a mock! Oh sure, the police searched my whole body (And I do mean "whole" body) for fingerprints, but…apparently, he had them burnt off. And by now, of course, the detectives were left with no leads.

Three years later, and I still haven't completely recovered. I still take my weekly trips to my psychiatrist's office. Well, may you please allow me to take you down the vista of years and remembrance to when it all started? Yes? Well the, off…we…go!

~*~FLASHBACK~*~

I tumbled about in the middle of the road separating my school from the neighboring houses.

"Get out of the way, you freak!" a mother with a raspy smoker's voice called out through the open window of her car.

"Ha-ha! Freak of nature!" my so-called "peers" teased; laughed; and snickered.

Still the most hated person in school, I was, for my saffron-colored hair and set of matching eyes has followed me throughout the years. Some parents hated me for being…eeto…better looking than then daughters. Others hated me for turning down their sons…and yes…even daughters…

I panicked and soon started panting; sweat beading down my forehead as I stuck out my tongue in deep concentration.

I swerved and twirled back and forth, trying to make it to the other side of the road without becoming a flattened tortilla.

Suddenly…I felt firm, strong hands grasp at my shoulders.

Fear and uttermost resentment arose deep inside my core as I thought of all the possible criminals that gaze might fall upon my eyes the minute I turned around.

"Kisa, you shouldn't be out playing in the streets like this. You know how much I worry about you." my sweet, sweet Hiro said calmly as he spun me around and indulged me in a deep and passionate embrace.

I felt all my fears slip away as I melted into his arms.

We stood in the middle of the street with all the cars rushing by; angry drivers screaming curses and shaking their fists full of hatred at us. But for a moment, the whole world had seemed to freeze around us - and just for us - as if we were the last beings on earth.

"Now come on, I feel a little uneasy here." Hiro said as he disconnected our hug and looked around, precautiously walking me down the street.

(A/N: Sorry for not writing much, it's just that something important came up and I didn't have time to finish this chapter. Just thought I should save it, though. After all...something is better than nothing, right?Well, I just wanted to write a few sentences so that you guys and I can get an idea of what this will be about. Obviously Kisa & Hiro are a couple and Kisa…well…it's a secret! I'll tell you in the next chapter. Please review so that I may know you are interested. Next chapter will be up some time around this week because I know that this wasn't nearly a full chapter. Like I said, I just wanted to write this down while the idea was still fresh in my head. DON'T FORGET TO REVIEW! Also, feel free to check out any of the other stories I've written!)
