He dates Taylor first. She is intelligent, hot and something new. Troy has a smart girlfriend, so why shouldn't he? Highschool, after all, is a game of follow the leader. They go to the movies with Troy and Gabriella, have study dates and get ice cream: vanilla in a styrofoam cup, so it won't spill.
It is consistently lovely, but he finds himself lacking. She wants a lifetime and he wants freedom. He dumps her because what they have, he doesn't really need.
Her kisses taste like vanilla, and he needs something with more flavor
He dates Kesli next. Kesli, with her glasses and artist's spirit, is a far cry from Taylor's scientific smarts. Maybe he can find what he needs from her. They skip biology together and laugh about it in detention. She sings her songs for him, and even though her voice cracks some, he thinks it's beautiful. He loves the sound of the piano because of her, despite being tone deaf.
It amazes him how much passion is in her petite frame, but he finds himself wanting. She hates crowds and he thrives on them. They drift apart, and he never looks back.
Her kisses are shy, and he wants confidence.
He dates Gabriella after Kesli. After Troy and her broke up, she came seeking him for comfort, and that's just what she got. It is a secret that no one knows. He watches her audition for their school's musical, claiming he is there to support his best friend. He gets a small, discreet smile from the dark-haired beauty, and nobody is the wiser. He makes excuses to stay, drives her home and they talked about the upcoming history test.
It is incredible how naturally beautiful she is, but he found himself desiring. She is loved by someone else, and he doesn't think she is worth the fight. She is back with his best friend again, and he doesn't regret a thing.
Her kisses are like honey, and he doesn't want something quite so sweet.
He then dates Sharpay. She is an enigma with blonde hair and red stilettos. He takes her to his Wildcats game. Instead of cheering him on, she insults him on every little mistake. It is his best game of the season. Afterwards, he takes her to the fanciest Italian restaurant he can afford. She tells him that the thought is nice, but she hates Italian. They stop at McDonalds after leaving the restaurant, and she gets a Big Mac with everything on it.
It is annoying how much of a challenge she is, but he finds it absolutely thrilling. She is a drama queen, and he is just enjoying the show. She claims that as soon as someone better comes along, she is out of here. He laughs, holds her tight and says he will never let her go.
Her kisses are cocky, spicy, and electrifying and he wants needs desires nothing more.
