New story YAY.

Don't Change

I was the quiet one for years

"Hahaha that's funny Robin." Beastboy said as the rest of the titans sat laughing at the table, all except for Raven who was reading a book at a far away corner.

Always anxious

"Hey Rae were going to a party and we were wondering if you would like to come?" Cyborg said.

"No thanks, you know I hate parties." Raven said.

"What would people think of me if I If I humiliate myself." Raven thought.

Always depressed

"Why? Why did you have to break my heart Malchior." Raven said before breaking into sobs.

"WHY?" she screamed knowing that the Titans weren't in the tower to hear her screams of agony and pain.

Everyone told me to change

"Raven, you defeated your father and you can express your feelings more, Why don't you?" Beastboy said.

"Yes friend Raven. Why do you not do the changing."Starfire said.

"Yeah girl why don't you?" Cyborg said with a confused look on his face.

I felt antipathy for them, but they were correct;I wanted to change, but I couldnt do it no matter how hard I tried

"I want to guys but Ive been this way for so long that I think I forgot how to live and feel"

What hurt me the most though was that, just like the others, my best friend insisted on me to change

"Yeah Raven, I know you think you forgot but you can change and it will be better for you" Robin said.

And I felt weak and trapped

"What do I do. They want me to change but I cant …I just cant" Raven said once she was in her room.

But one day my best friend told me:

"Raven, please don't change. I love you just as you are."Robin said .

Those words were music to my ears:

"Don't change, don't change, don't change. I love you just as you are." Robin said with a pleading face.

I relaxed,revived and pretty soon…I changed

"Raven were going for pizza. Do you want to come?" Cyborg said.

"Sure Id love to."Raven said smiling

Now I know that I could never change until I found somebody who loved me for me, Changed or Not.

"Real friends don't ask you to change,

on the contrairy, they learn to love you

just as you are"
