Ever since the attack on New York you received a lot of attention from the team. And yes, we're talking about the Avengers! You were an agent for SHIELD and when the attack started, you joined your friends, Clint and Natasha on the battle. From then you were now used to hang out with the Avengers from time to time.
So, you weren't uncomfortable when all of you were resting on the Avengers tower's lounge, playing a friendly game of 'would you rather'.
"So…" Tony started, taking a drink. "Steve, your turn to ask."
"Okay, uhm, Thor." Steve chose his victim.
"Yes!" the Asgardian responded with, as usual, a loud voice. "Would you rather stay here on earth forever or go to Asgard and never return?" you could hear the sounds of 'ouch' and gasps around the room. That's a pretty hard question for him.
He seemed to be thinking for a moment, taking his time. You thought that even if this was a game he seemed to be taking this question seriously. After a few moments he finally gave his answer.
"That is a question that I never thought I would have to answer!" he informed, chuckling at the end, and you could feel the tension leave the room, as the others laughed softly with him.
"That is a pretty hard question for you, isn't it point break?" Tony asked, sassy as usual.
"Indeed!" he responded, laying his hand on Tony's shoulder. "I love Asgard and Midgard dearly, one being my home, and the other the home of my friends." He started. "And before I met you guys I wouldn't even take a second to answer this question." He stopped again for a moment and then locked eyes with you. "But I do have to admit that earth has something, that Asgard does not, that makes the question much easier to answer." He continued, making you blush as you understood what he meant. He then looked at Steve to give him his answer. "So, to answer it, I would rather stay here forever." He finished with a smile.
"Does anybody else feel that this was way more intense than it should have been." Clint asked, still polishing his bow. He does love that bow.
"I think we all know the reason why, Barton." Maria laughed. They continued the game, but you were lost in your thoughts. Thoughts about a certain Asgardian.
"Y/n?" Tony asked. Guess it was your turn.
"Yes, Tony dear?" you replied sarcastically, making laughs sound around the room.
"Would you rather go on a date with mister Capcicle or mister Hammer?" he asked, and you widened your eyes. You could hear the 'ooohs' coming from Natasha and Maria.
"Hardest choice I've ever had to make." You say, making the girls laugh and agree. "But I guess I'll have to go with Thor, no offense Cap." You smile at Steve.
"None taken!" he answers with a small smile.
"It would be rather funny to take him to the zoo!" you say. "See some penguins."
"Penguins, are you serious? That's your dream date?" Tony asked, laughing.
"Yes! Penguins, dude, penguins! They're the best!" you say, excitement in your voice. You couldn't help it. A trained Shield agent, that could kill you in two seconds flat, loves penguins. You laughed.
"It is settled then!" Thor said, making you look at him.
"What is?" you asked.
"We'll go on this date tomorrow! And see those penguins that you obviously adore so much." He explained. Everybody in the room chuckled at your reaction but you didn't notice, too shocked to care.
"What?!"
