Dear Reader,

If you are reading this, then we saved the world. So, you might be wondering who 'we' are. We're Mallory and Max Wright. If you read this, you are at a very high risk of finding yourself. If you recognize anything in these pages, CLOSE THE BOOK. Because once you find out whom you truly are, than there is no going back. So put the book down and run if you aren't ready. Still reading? Well, good luck. You'll need it.

Sincerely,

Max and Mallory Wright,

Counselors of Camp Olympus,

Children of Mars.

Mallory

I struck with force at my partner and brother, Max. He was a great fighter, but so was I. And I knew him. Sooner or later, he would make a careless error and I would win. So I waited, earning cuts and brusies.

Finally, I saw his mistake. He pulled back to swing too far. As he swung, he lost acceleration and I used it to my advantage. I swung down hard, knocking the gladius from his hand. I smirked and offered him a hand. He took it and I helped him up before throwing him a water bottle.

"Come on," Max said. "We better get to dinner before the campers get there." I nodded and we ran towards the mess hall. We took our seats with Apollo, the Roman one. He ran the camp along with Hecate, the Greek goddess. At Camp Olympus, we combine both Greek and Roman demigods and train them to fight. We have four leaders below Apollo and Hecate. Two Romans, me and Max, and two Greeks, Haley and Thomas. Haley's daughter of Athena and Thomas is son of Apollo, the Greek one. They're dating.

As the campers came in from archery, sword-fighting, or whatever was on their schedules, the Auras passed out dinner. It consisted of salad, pasta, grilled chicken, and mashed potatoes. What? We train for hours; we burn a lot of calories!

After eating ice cream for dessert, we all went the amphitheater and Apollo and his children led a sing-along. It was fun. Soon, it was lights out. We were organized in barracks according to your godly parent. And Romans and Greeks roomed together, since we were all friends here. Max and I said goodbye to Haley and Thomas and went to the Mars/Ares barracks.

"Night guys," I said, flipping off the lights. I soon fell into a deep sleep, oblivious to what horror I would wake up to find.

A/N: So there's chapter one! Review for next chapter! Sorry it's so short!
