It was Friday evening. The usual night Serena and Darien spent some alone time together with out Rini there to bother them. They didn't want to go anywhere out tonight, the two lovebirds just wanted to cuddle in the apartment. The two decided on renting a movie and ordering take-out. Since Darien is such a gentleman, he let Serena pick the movie, even if it's a chick flick. The princess probably wanted to eliminate her prince's fear of her picking a chick flick, so she decided on watching Norbit. Once everything was set, he put the DVD in and sat down with his girlfriend on the couch.

"I heard this is seriously funny," Serena commented as she picked up her food.

"Yeah, Andrew and Rita saw it and said it was hilarious," Darien responded also picking up his food.

"Well, I mean, of course it would be a funny movie because Eddie Murphy is in it!" Serena laughed, as well as Darien.

They began eating their dinner while Norbit got into the beginning of the story. They mostly ate in silence except for the laughing at the appropriate parts. After they finished the wonderfully delicious meal, Darien took the trash to the kitchen and quickly returned after taking care of it. He saw Serena giggling quietly after a slightly funny part that he must have missed while he was in the other room. He stood there just watching her beautiful face light up with laughter as her eyes were glued to the screen. The orphan still couldn't believe that there was a goddess on this planet just for him, his soul mate.

"You look so amazing tonight, Sere," Darien breathed. He was standing behind the couch looking down at her.

Serena blushed and giggled some more, "Why, thank you, dear sir." She looked up in his direction smiling. Darien grinned like an idiot.

Moving around the couch, he scooped the petite girl up into his arms and plopped back down on the couch with the blonde on his lap. After getting comfortable in each other's arms, which wasn't very hard because they fit like a puzzle, they laid side by side watching the movie. The couple stealing kisses from time to time.

It was nearing the end of the movie when Darien noticed a soft noise coming from the girl at his side. She was snoring, but only a little. Fast asleep, he thought while chuckling silently to himself. He turned off the movie and picked the sleeping beauty up in his strong arms and carried her to his bedroom. She was already wearing one of his old T-shirts and a pair of his boxers, so he just laid her gently on the soft king sized bed. Darien covered her small frame with the blanket and kissed her tenderly on her natural pink lips. He left the room to go clean up some out in the living room and kitchen.

The man finished rather quickly, for he wanted to get back to his sleeping angel as fast as he could. Finally the last dish was washed and he turned the lights off and retired back to his room. When he entered, Serena was tiredly looking at him through half closed eyelids. She murmured something, but Darien could catch what it was and just left it alone. He took off his shirt that he had on and climbed beside her. Wrapping his arms around her waist and turning her towards him he kissed her slowly, but passionately, knowing that was the way she liked it.

"Your mom knows that you are here and I'm sure she will cover up for you in the morning," Darien said quietly.

"She'll probably tell my dad that I'm at one of the girls' house," Serena added almost asleep again.

"You are about to crash, hun. Time to sleep. I'll see you in the morning," Darien said. Serena stayed quiet for a few seconds.

"I love you, Serenity," Darien whispered in her ear and kissed her on the cheek lovingly. She stirred.

"I love you too, Endymion. Always and Forever, I will," Serena whispered back and fell back asleep.

Darien smiled and thanked the gods for the fallen angel that had been sent to him.
