A/N. I am the only one hyped about Jimmy and Kara? Jimmy Olsen has ALWAYS needed some lovin'... and the chance to step out of Clark's spotlight. But poor Chloe. :(
Deep down Chloe couldn't really blame him. After all he wasn't the only one to try to push to the back of his mind having feelings for a Krypotonian. She knew what was happening before he'd walked away from her… before he told her, what seemed to be a repetition of what he'd told her the year before:
"I can't keep doing this, Chloe. I can't keep competing with him. I can't keep hoping that we'll have anything close to what you two have."
Sometimes she thinks that she should have let him in, instead of putting a Clark shaped barrier in her life.
Sometimes she thinks that it wouldn't have mattered anyway, since his screensaver became a picture of Clark's cousin that he'd snapped at the beauty pageant and he didn't even seem to care to explain it to her.
Sometimes she wonders if she'll die lonely because she'll spend a lifetime waiting for Clark.
She put on a brave face as she stood in front of the younger Kryptonian girl, knowing what she was going to say before she even said it.
"No. I haven't seen Jimmy." She responded, biting away the pinpricks in her eyes. "I haven't seen Jimmy at all."
