Title: First Time Beauty Appears
Rating: PG
Spoilers: small one for Supernatural season three characters
Disclaimer: All Supernatural characters belong to Eric Kripke et al. No profit made in the creation of this.
Notes: Going by the spoilers for Bela that I've read online this is just a quick little possibility of one way the Winchesters could run into her. When season three airs I expect the canon will probably make this wrong. Comments and crit welcome.

This is how it starts. They're going for a cursed amulet that gives the wearer telekinetic abilities ("cool," says Dean slurping a slushie that turns his lips blue) unfortunately the amulet gradually sends the wearer into a berserker rage ("or maybe not," Dean grins showing off his blue stained teeth). It is two in the morning with the grass crunching under foot and Dean's lips are still a bit blue from the slushie. They look purple in the glow of the streetlights. Sam is crouched down to disable the alarm system while Dean keeps watch when Sam hisses.
"It's already been disabled."
Dean has a gun out and is waiting to ease the door open until Sam is behind him. The art gallery is very quiet and Sam can just hear Dean's soft breaths. There's a figure fiddling with the lock on the amulet's case. Dean gives him the look that says play along.
"Freeze! Police!"
The figure turns into the beam of the flashlight that Sam flicks on. It turns out to be a woman with short choppy dark hair. She grins and launches herself at Dean. He's flat out surprised that anyone would be that stupid and even Dean with his fast reflexes isn't fast enough to catch her – although it's debatable whether they really would want to catch her since it's the amulet and not some thief they're after. That's the first time they meet Bela soon to be known as that pain in the ass bitch who doesn't know what's really dangerous. But they aren't properly introduced until the mess with the crystal skull but that's a whole 'nother story so for the time being it's just a strange occurrence in a routine malevolent object case.
