Hey again! I am SO sorry that it's been so long. You don't even UNDERSTAND how much I apologize. I had a friend die on Valentine's Day, and I just haven't been writing much since. This, however, is the first thing back up. Make sure to check my "Step on my ego just don't walk in place", because that is getting NEW CHAPTERS! (rejoice, you spoiled bitches). Here is a scary little piece I wrote at some point, but while I work on the other, this is my apology.
"How do you know when time is up, Danny?" He asked him quietly, almost gently and into his ear, like a secret.
"Uh… the bell rings…?" he heard him say, but there was sarcasm. BAM.
"Wrong."
He wheezed a few times, then said in a weak voice, "Uh… a-a teacher intervenes?"
BAM, BAM. "Wrong again." He said. He closed his eyes, smiled and tightened his grip.
"When...when your knuckles are bleeding and the kid you're beating on is losing con—consciousness?" he said with a desperation that was almost pathetic.
BAM, BAM, BAM. "Wrong. Try again, Danny."
He swallowed hard between gasps of breath. "It's time to g-give up… when… when… It's—It's time, to get up--"
"No, no. Give up, Danny. Give up."
"…No. Get up. I'm… I'm done… I wa--want you to let me go."
"Pssht. You're funny. No."
"Dash, please. I didn't even… I—I didn't…" he said, trailing off into a mumble and not finishing his sentence.
"Hey! Loser! Wake up!" he said loudly, shaking him and slamming his head into the wall behind him.
He writhed in pain. "W-what… I… Well, I... Dash, I—I need to go home, Dash. Please. Please."
"And why's that, when we're having so much fun here?" he said in a sweet, innocent voice.
"B-bec-because… because, Dash," he said with a shuddering exhale, "…if you k-kill me today, who… who will you beat up tomorrow?"
Dash smiled. "Good point, Fenton." He pushed Danny's torso down as he brought his knee up, making Danny cry out in a flash of blinding pain. He would've collapsed, but Dash caught him by the shoulder and pulled him back up to look at him.
Dash pulled Danny close and whispered in his ear with a definite smile to his voice, "…I'd be nothing without you, Danny Boy."
