-1Naruto sighed as he lay in bed. Tomorrow was going to be a day of hell. Why? Because he was born the day Kyuubi attacked and the yondaime, the one he admired most, sealed the demon fox into him. He didn't even tell his so called teammates when his birthday was. Not that they would listen anyway. Sakura would just ignore him and swoon over Sasuke. And Sasuke, Sasuke would be in avenger mode and probably say something like, "I don't care if a dobe like you has a demon inside you, why should I care about when your birthday is? I'm an Avenger, not a gift giver." Naruto snorted as he went over the scenarios in his head.
'That would be just like them,' Naruto thought. 'They wouldn't care. Nobody but Sandaime and Iruka-Sensei.'
Naruto then pulled out a kunai as he realized that he had nothing to live for. Who would when your whole village's vocabulary to you is insults about something you had no control over? And two teammates who only cared about dating and revenge? The only two people who truly knew what he was like was him and Kyuubi. Having a fox live in you your whole tends to not make anything a secret between the two. Well between Kyuubi and Naruto. Kyuubi knowing of Naruto's past and loneliness could sympathize with him. Naruto dipped his head down and tightly held his kunai as he stabbed it through his heart.
Well that was depressing. I didn't plan it to be this short either. Naruto hasn't gone through the Chunnin exams yet so Sasuke hasn't left for Sound. Sorry about the Sasuke and Sakura bashing. I like them both so I just bashed them to fit the mood. Happy early Birthday Naruto!
