So, this is a story my 9-year-old cousin wrote. I'm posting it because I'm super proud that she ships Linzin, and also she asked me to. When I typed the story, the only changes I made were spelling and punctuation. Everything else is purely her idea.

So Pema and Tenzin were getting married.

Lin was furious. She couldn't let Tenzin marry Pema. She had to do something about it. And then it hit her: she had to object to the wedding. The wedding was tomorrow. Lin would have to go and pick out a dress. On second thought, she'd just wear her uniform.

The next day Tenzin woke up with a girl on his mind. He was not sure about the marriage anymore. He sighed and started getting ready anyway.

Many of the citizens of Republic City were on Air Temple Island to see the Avatar's son get married. Lin was among them and she say anxiously in the middle, waiting. When Tenzin walked out, Lin's heart stated racing. As Pema walked down the aisle, hundreds of thoughts went through Tenzin's head.

Is she the right one? Do I really love her? Do I really want to spend the rest of my life with her?

Pema joined Tenzin at the front of the crowd, and Aang began the ceremony. Tenzin wasn't really listening. Instead, his thoughts wandered to Lin.

Suddenly, Tenzin heard Pema say, "I do." Tenzin turned his attention back to his father.

Aang said, "Will you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

Lin sat forward in her seat, waiting anxiously for Tenzin's answer.

"No."

Everyone gasped.

"Pema, I realized that I'm still in love with someone else."

Pema gasped, "What?"

Tenzin looked out in the crowd where Lin was sitting. Lin was so confused. Had Tenzin just said no? Before she could even think of what to do, Tenzin was by her side pouring his heart out to her. When he go done, he pulled out a ring.

"Lin, will you marry me?"

Lin hesitated. Did he really just ask her to marry him? It took her a minute to take all this in, but finally she said, "Yes."

Three weeks later, Lin was walking down the aisle.
