As soon as Roy opened the door, he knew something was wrong. There was something missing, she was missing. Trying to compose himself he asked Havoc:
"Where's Liutenant Hawkeye?" Havoc just shrugged.
"She hasn't arrived yet, sir," Fuery said.
Time passed and our beloved colonel sat nervously starring at the door. Suddenly the phone rang and he almost fell from his chair. He answered the phone only to hear a: "Look at the new photos of my dear wife and daughter! They are the most beautiful-" only to hang up with a "Shut up Hughes!"
He passed the entire afternoon thinking about her and asking himself a lot of "what if's". He didn't even have lunch and worst of all HE DID HIS PAPERWORK!
He left work early and when he came back the next day he found her sitting motionlessly working. Almost crying he jumped on top of her and hugged her screaming "I thought you'd been abducted by aliens!"
The woman sighed and said "Didn't you remember about my leave?"
Yeah, that's Colonel Roy Mustang for you...
