"I swear, this place is getting creepy. I keep feeling eyes on the back of my neck," Kiba said as he kicked the soccer ball back to Naruto.

"You're being paranoid. There isn't anyone around, we can barely get past the thorns to this place," Gaara said from his comfortable perch

in the tree. Kiba looked around the wondeful hideout. Gaara had discovered it months ago when his dad came home drunk and hit him.

There was a small cliff with a waterfall running gracefully over it, and a huge oak overlooking the pool and a large clearing that was beside

it. The forest it was nestled in was right by the school, but no one ever went deep in, there was too much undergrowth for most people.

Since its discovery, the boys had met here everyday after school until the sun went down. "I dunno Gaara, I feel it too," Naruto said.

The three boys decided it was late enough and began making their way back towards the school.

*Just on top of the small cliff*

"That's them, all right," a man with a bear mask said, gesturing toward the retreating teenagers. "Yeah, let's move. We need to get them

before it thins out," replied another, this one wearing a tiger mask. he gestured toward the two other behind him, both wearing wolf masks,

one blue, the other red. They quickly followed the boys, closing the gap between them rapidly.

*Somewhere in the thick undergrowth*

"Guys, did you hear that? Please tell me you heard that," Kiba said, looking around. "Ok, maybe you weren't so paranoid. It could just be

a deer, you know," Naruto replied, moving closer to Gaara. "Fuck!" Both turned around, to see Kiba getting dragged farther into the

darkening forest. "Shit, there're more of them," Gaara said, taking a fighting stance. He was grabbed from behing as a heavy arm wrapped

around his neck, cutting off his air supply. Naruto felt his legs give way as a boot hit him in the thigh. The next things he knew was darkness.
