Soul Bonds:

A soul bond is a magical bond shared between two individuals with a matching magical aura. This type of bond is also often called the 'True Love' Bond due to the fact that the bonded pair are usually in love before the bond is established. The Soul Bond is usually activated when the pre-bonded pair act upon their love for each other. There are three phases to a soul bond the first is initiated when the partners initiate physical contact for the first time, a hug/handshake ect., the second phase is initiated when the bonded pair first kiss. The third and final phase is initiated when the bonded pair consumed their union.

Effects of a Soul Bond may be:

ESP to the soul bonded partners emotions

(Phase 1)

Mind speak or telepathy

(Phase 2)

Resistance to love potions

(Phase 2)

A strengthened and joined magical core between the pair

Harry glanced out of the window and once again saw the countryside flashing past. He had barely made it onto the train only remembering just in time that the patform that the train was leaving from was platform 9 3/4 and therefore the entrance might be between the platforms 9 and 10. His asumption had been correct because he and his luggage passed through the barrier with ease.

After that he made his way to this compartment and was now watching the contryside fly by past the window.

"Excuse me."

Harry looked up to see a girl of around his age standing in the doorway to the compartment.

"Yes." He replied not wanting to sound in hospitable.

"Would you mid if I came and sat in here," She said "It's just that all of the other seats are taken."

"Not at all" Harry replied and started to slide over to make room for her to sit down "Please have a seat"

"Thank you, my name is Hermione Granger what's yours?"

"It's Harry, Harry Potter." Whilst extending his hand.

"As in the Harry Potter from The rise and fall of the Dark arts" she exclaimed "As in the boy who defeated He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named."

"Err I guess"

She took his outstretched hand and for a moment time froze within this imperceptible nanosecond a bright glow filled the carriage and in The Book Of Registry in the Department of Magical Bonds and Marriages a thin gold line appeared between the names Harry Potter and Hermione Granger and in neat precise handwriting next to it was written Soul Bond Stage 1...
