Darth Vader strode into the temple, lightsabre in hand, an army of clones marching behind him. His yellow eyes flashed as he prepared to unleash destruction and ruin onto his former home. A Jedi confronted them as they entered. "Skywalker! What is the meaning of this?" Vader said nothing, he simply ignited his sabre and slashed.
The group split up, spreading out across the whole temple. Chaos ensued. Flashes of blue and green, blaster bolts flying everywhere, and everywhere, Jedi fell. The Jedi had been taken completely by surprise. There was no escape. They couldn't hold out against so many; the clones outnumbered them a hundred to one, maybe more. In the midst of it all was Darth Vader.
As Vader made his way to the council chamber, killing everyone who stood in his way, he was stopped by a small togruta Jedi. Tears streamed down her face and her blue eyes filled with betrayal. All she said was "Master…why?"
He ignored her question, instead asking one of his own. "Why are you here Ahsoka? You were supposed to be out on a mission" there was a slight urgency in his voice, so slight that anyone who didn't know him as well as Ahsoka did would have missed it. She didn't answer him, instead, charging at him. He blocked her strike; his face betrayed his shock. He hadn't expected her to attack him. "Ahsoka, listen to me, the Jedi are traitors" he pleaded, trying to defend himself without hurting her. "I'm not listening to any of your lies!" she shouted, attacking with a new ferocity. "Please, Ahsoka, I don't want to hurt you!" Vader cried. Ahsoka just glared at him. "You should've thought about that before you attacked my home and killed my family" she retorted, feigning left and stabbing right, going for the kill. He easily blocked her, whilst she was skilled, he was a far better duellist than she was and knew her well enough to predict her every move. The only reason the fight was still going on was because Anakin didn't want her to be hurt.
"Ahsoka, you have to understand" "I'm not listening to anything you have to say!" she yelled, her eyes flashing with anger. Ahsoka managed to graze Vader's shoulder with one of her lightsabres, and he cried out, more from shock than anything else. Upon hearing this, the clones in the area began to fire at Ahsoka. Until this point, they had trusted Vader to kill the Jedi on his own and hadn't interfered. But, at his cry, they all turned to try and kill her.
Ahsoka took up a fighting stance, ready to try and deflect the bullets, to fight the last, even if she had no hope of beating this many, especially with Vader there. But the shots never reached her. They hovered in mid air for a second, just long enough to spark confusion, before shooting back at the clones who had fired them. Ahsoka stared in shock at Vader. He had just killed his own men, to save her, his supposed enemy. "I won't let anyone hurt you Ahsoka" he said gently, as if he had not just killed his own almost the entire Jedi order. "Just let me help you" "I don't want your help" replied Ahsoka, her voice surprisingly level, but filled with hatred. "I don't want anything from you" She ran at him, blinded by the tears streaming down her face. He put away his lightsabre and used the force to render her unconscious. Her lightsabres fell from her hands and he caught her in his arms. Ahsoka's lightsabres flew to his hand and he hooked them, alongside his onto his belt.
Darth Vader carried his former apprentice out of the temple.
