Here, read this.

The smell of summer was in the air, the bright green leaves of each tree flowing into gentle warm breeze. The shouts of glee of children running in the park could be heard, rolling about in the grass or splashing in lakes, the hot summer afternoon was not to be missed by anyone. School was out, in the minds of the children was only to have fun with their Pokemon.

Platinum Berlitz, on the other hand, being the gentle and mannerly lady she was, kept to herself, her dark eyes noticing every movement around her. She didn't understand many a thing about the world outside her mansion, but she did know it was Summer, second season of the year, when it was hot and children were about. In one hand she held a thick book and slung over her shoulder was a small yellow pouch. There wasn't much to do in the summer, except maybe curl up on a bench and read.

"M-M-Missy!" She heard a worried voice call. For a moment she froze, for she had told no one she was out for a walk in the park, but her quick mind recognized the voice and she relaxed. It was Diamond. Sometimes he forgot to call her Platinum, but she didn't mind. 'Missy' was respectful enough for her. The young boy dressed in his usual loose grey T-shirt stumbled up towards her, two plastic cups in his hands. "Mi- I mean... P-Platinum! It's really hot out! A-And I brought you something! Because.. Because you need to keep hydrated!"

The lady of wealth regarded this. Yes, it was certainly hot, but she wasn't to accept some commoner's food. But she wasn't not polite enough either to not say a simple "thank you", but different words escaped instead. "You are not to mention my name in public," she said a little too sternly than she had hoped for. "If you'd like, we can return to my ma-"

"Oh! Wait! No no no!" Diamond interrupted. "I-I'm great! I'd rather stay outside! Please? I-I'll call you Missy, don't worry! I won't mention your name at all! I promise, I..." His voice trailed off, and he meekly turned his eyes towards the ground. He held up a cup that was filled with a pink, gooey substance. "...I... I don't want you to get overheated or anything... Summer here... It's not as hot as in the other regions, but it's still pretty warm, a-and you have to keep hydrated!"

Platinum raised her eyebrows as she observed the liquid in the cup Diamond held before coming to a conclusion. "...What is it?" She asked.

Diamond looked at the cup. "It's a strawberry smoothie," he said slowly. "It's really tasty. Don't you like strawberry? I also got blueberry! You can have that if you'd like! But I can also get some different flavors!"

"That's quite alright." Platinum said. "I'll have it." And she gratefully took the cup from Diamond's hand. She pushed the straw against her mouth. She had never drank a smoothie before, she realized. This was her first time, and it was Diamond that had gotten it for her.

She wasn't even sure if she liked smoothies, but it was Diamond who had taken his time and thinned his wallet to get it for her, she did.

Oh.

Well.

That was short.
