Draco watched the girl from across the Great Hall. Merlin, it was tearing him apart being in the same room with her, even one this big whilst their living quarters were ridiculous. Both of them being Heads, they had to share the dormitory together but it was one of the worst things he had ever had to endure. They were just too close and if someone didn't break soon, then he would go insane. When they had been lower down the school, they had been on separate sides of the castle and been seven or eight floors away from each other but now all that separated their rooms was a bathroom. A bathroom that they were expected to share! He had never had to share anything in his life, let alone a bathroom with the muggleborn mess that was sitting with her perfect pals two tables away from him.
Grasping the cup on the table, he brought it to his mouth and when he saw her laugh at some pathetic joke the Weasel had made, he ended up gripping it too hard and it smashed over his fingers. Pansy, of course, made a fuss over him while he sat and rolled his eyes. McGonagall, behind the nice façade, was smiling whereas Snape looked murderous at the boy. Out of the pair of them, he would rather take on Snape not McGonagall. The woman had had it out for him the entire time he had been at Hogwarts. Probably since the day he had grassed on Saint Potter and his friends. She was a tough old bird and although he could have some fun with her, he could handle Snape better. He had grown up with Snape constantly around the house and was able to persuade his godfather to do anything for him.
