Lonely Soldier by Melinda Cadarette
I am a lonely soldier
In a battle I have to win
Searching for my enemy
My greatest opponent, to fight
All day and all night
I looked for that one
He did not show up
But I still went on
They tried to stop me
From destroying the stones
But I carried on
Just to make him appear
I could not be stopped
I destroyed the last stone
But it was all in vain
I could not even touched him
I am a lonely soldier
In a battle I could not win
Finding my purpose
In my sacrifice for the world
This is my sixth poem. I am happy that I am back. Expect more works from me soon.
