-1This is a story about 2 people. The boy adores the girl, but can't tell her cause he thinks it'll ruin their friendship. The girl adores the boy just as much, but can't say anything to him cause she thinks he doesn't like her the way she likes him.
Roxas and Namine were walking around Twilight Town bored to death in the hot, steaming sun.
"Now what do we do?" Namine asked.
"Try to stay alive and not die by the heat or boredom." Roxas said with a sigh.
The two of them walked around for what seemed like an hour. Even though it had only been 8 minutes. Finally, they both stopped in front of an ice-cream shop. Before Namine could say anything, Roxas ran into the shop and was already paying for their ice-cream.
"Hey Namine!!" Roxas said as he licked his ice-cream as he handed her one, "it tastes good!"
"What's it called?" Namine said tilting her head to the left; a bad habit of hers.
"Sea Salt Ice-cream!" Roxas said cheerfully.
Namine giggled as she watched him lick his ice-cream.
"That sounds kind of awkward"
"But it tastes great!!"
Namine sighed in defeat knowing that Roxas wouldn't let her sleep at night if she hadn't tried it.
"Go ahead," Roxas said watching her, "I know you'll love it"
"Okay, but if I die, you better not come to my funeral!"
"Deal!" Roxas said laughing.
Namine hesitated to lick it, but then finally started to enjoy it.
"This tastes great!!" Namine said as the two started to walk out of the shop.
"I told you!" Roxas said as he started to finish the last of his.
"I now love Sea Salt Ice-cream" Namine said happily, "now it's my turn to decide what to do"
Namine stopped to think for a while. When she finished, she gave a small smirk.
"Let's go to the beach!"
"Aww, why the beach?" Roxas said complaining.
"It's either the beach or the mall" Namine said laughing evilly.
"Let's go to the beach!!" Roxas said happily.
"That's what I thought you said" Namine said as they walked towards the beach.
Silence was between the two as they walked. Normally, they'd talk about stuff like school, but today was different. When they arrived at the beach, they had already finished eating their Sea Salt Ice-Cream. Roxas smiled at Namine evilly. Namine looked confused.
"You look scary like that" Namine said laughing.
Roxas laughed evilly and pushed Namine into the ocean. Namine laughed and pulled him in with her. They splashed at each other and smiled, until the sun started to set. Roxas and Namine sat on the shores as the watched the sunset.
"It looks so pretty!!" Namine said as her cerulean eyes watched the sunset.
Roxas smiled at Namine and continued to watch the sunset.
Sha la la la, my oh, my! Looks like the boys too shy ain't gonna, kiss the girl.
Silence came between the two while they watched it.
Sha la la la, aint that sad? It's such a shame to bad, you're gonna miss the girl!!
The wind seemed to whisper to him, that it was finally time to tell her how he felt.
La la la la, la la la la, go on and kiss the girl. La la la la, la la la la, go on and, kiss the girl.
"Uhm, Namine?"
"Yeah?" Namine said turning her attention to him.
"I uhm…."
Roxas kissed her, his lips still salty from the ocean. And the kiss tasting sweeter than ever. As they broke apart, they both turned their head, blushing.
"Just like Sea Salt Ice-cream" Namine whispered quietly.
"You love Sea Salt Ice-cream though, don't you?" he replied.
Namine nodded her head and smiled.
