Sometimes Chase wishes he has a superpower or, hell, even got the Fistigons back (even though he understands that Nico had to destroy them). Chase wishes that he could be out with the girls, going out and taking the bad guys down. He doesn't like the fact that Gert is down there where he isn't, where he can't protect her, where he can't take care of her (not that Gert can't take care of herself, because she can, you know. She's even got a dinosaur, how cool is that? But Nico's got magic, Molly's a mutant, and Karolina is an alien, so he worries about Gert.).
But no. Chase has the Leapfrog. Chase, despite his prowess with his switchblade, is a glorified getaway man. But Chase doesn't go out to fight, he just watches for the cops and waits for the girls to be done fighting whatever Z-lister that's trying to get a foothold in LA (and he even gets to land the Leapfrog on some of them.).
Because, just between you and me, Chase doesn't really mind after the fight is over, when Gert smiles at him and says it's time to go. Chase could wait an eternity in the Leapfrog as long as Gert is right beside him when all the fighting is done.
