Set a year after the Dalmatians go for their first slide on ice to escape Horace and Jasper.

Patch and five of his siblings ran out into the snow. He snapped at the snow then vanished over an embankment. The others rushed over to look for him.

"Patch!" Lucky shouted.

"Where are you Patch?" Penny looked around for her brother.

"I see him!" Rolly shouted.

And there was Patch, stuck headfirst into a pile of snow. The young dalmatian wiggled around until his head popped out of the snow. The others laughed for he had a beard of snow hanging from his chin. Patch glanced down then shook his head vigorously. The others dodged flying snow.

"I meant to do that," Patch grumped then turned away from the others.

"Aw it's okay Patch," Cadpid ran up to him.

Patch turned away as his face burned with embarrassment. But it was pushed from his mind as his paws slipped out from under him. He landed with a thud on a frozen pond. His teeth clicked together when his jaw smacked the ice. "Ow!"

"Patch!" Cadpid ran out and started to slide. "Whoa!" She slid right past Patch and crashed into snow on the other side of the pond.

Patch worked to get his paws under him and took off to make sure she was alright. His paws skid along the ice but he managed to stay upright. Cadpid sat up from the snow and shook it from her ears.

"That was some fun," she said dubiously.

"Are you ok?" Patch went up to her.

She nodded then turned as she heard the others charging down the embankment. Lucky was leading the way and was the first to slip. The others crashed into him and soon a pile of Dalmatians was sliding into Patch and Cadpid.

"Ow! Your paw is on my ear!" One cried.

"That's my leg!" Another.

"Get off of me you lug!"

The youngsters disentangled themselves and shook out their fur. Patch rubbed at his sore ear as Lucky looked a little smushed from being landed on by Rolly. Penny was rubbing an eye and Cadpid looked the less injured of the bunch.

"I think we should head home before anything else -" Patch was interrupted by a loud whoop.

They all turned to see Freckles charging down the snow. She hit the ice and slid smoothly across without falling. She came to a stop and looked at them.

"What happened to you guys?" Her gaze took in their bruised bodies.

"How did you do that?"

"That was amazing!"

"I didn't know you could do that Freckles!"

Freckles felt shy under their adulations of her skill. Before she could feel more embarrassed their mother's voice called to them. "It's time for dinner!"

The youngsters skirted around the pond and raced home. Once they saw Perdy they clamored about their adventure on the ice. Their mother just smiled and shook her head. The pups could be so silly at times. She led them inside and they ate their fill of Kanine Krunchies.
