Rue took a seat on the rocks were he thought he'd get at lest some quiet.He looked deeply into the small worn out place in the rock which made a great place for water to find refuge.He looked at it as if it held all the answers to his unanswered questions,yet it was as silent as calm water.He sighed,pulling his gaze from the little spot to the surrounding trees of the forest.He took in another deep breath and stood.Walking over to Klaus,who was so into his book he hadn't noticed Rue come up.
Mint sat somewere near-by resting her aching legs and Prima was off somewere with Elena taking a tour of the vast woods.Yes.Almost the whole group had come with a hungry notion of adventure.
Rue was adout to turn away when her heard the faint snap of a twig.Even Klaus lifted his head from his reading to take a look.Mint was the first to find out what it was.She jumped to her feet,grabbing her rings that lay near the spot she sat and turned them on a figure that neither Rue nor Klaus could see.
"Who are you and what do you want!?"she demaned her rings lit up with power that seemed to have a life of it's own.
"Mint?"Klaus stood,eyeing Mint warily."What are you looking at?"He gazed to the spot were Mint was looking at,but there was nothing.
"Don't you see it!?"Mint looked in surprize at Klaus,and at moment she turned her head a faint breeze picked up.It wasn't strong,but it made the trees dance and Rue had to put his hand on his hat,fearfull that it might get carried away by the wind.
Mint looked back at to the spot,"DANGIT!"she stamped her foot,"He got away!"
Rue shook is head for a moment,on the brink of thinking her nuts.But no.With all the things happening so far anything can be true.
"What did you see?"came the curious voice of Klaus before Rue could asked.
"You REALLY didn't see it?"Mint asked with a grunt and shook her rings impatently and shruged,"I must of been dreaming"this was followed by a yawn.
Klaus,ready to belive anything at the moment urged her on,"Well,if it was a dream,tell it anyway."
She shook her head no triedly,calming down and sat.The realization of her aching legs came back to her."dangit...why did we have to walk to far?"she asked herself outload.
"well....maybe it was something to do with the [relic]?"Rue asked,aware that this should get her attention.And it did.She snapped her head toward Rue,"OH!umm...ermmm....it was just some stupid looking cloaked person holding some staff......"
"A staff?"Klaus asked,quzzical."did it have...any marking?"
Mint nodded.
"What did they look like?"
"How am i suppose to know?Some symbols.. "
Klaus sighed when yet another twig broke under careless feet.They all looked toward the source with frightened looks.
