I do not own Fruits Basket. If I did I'd be with Kyo instead of Tohru…
'I can't tell her how I feel! She'd never love me anyways.. I'm just a baka neko, just like everyone says," Kyo thought to himself while sitting on the roof and gazing at the full moon.
"Kyo, there you are! I was worried when you didn't come down for dinner," Tohru said, scaring the hell out of him.
"Damn! Don't scare me like that. And don't apologize, it's my own fault," Kyo said, recognizing the familiar look upon Tohru's face. He loved her being here with him and was secretly wishing she's come up here so he could tell her how he felt. Too bad he was too much of a coward.
"Are you ok?" Tohru asked when she saw Kyo's face as he was battling himself internally.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little hungry…" Kyo confessed.
"Oh! I'll make you something. Are rice balls ok?" Tohru started. She was worrying about everyone but herself as usual. It took a great deal of Kyo's strength not to chuckle out loud.
"Don't worry about it. I'll make myself something when I go inside. I actually wanted to tell you something," Kyo began. 'Idiot,' he thought to himself, 'now I have to go through with it.'
"Yes Kyo?" Tohru asked when he said nothing.
"Well… I kinda… I kinda love you. But I understand if you don't love me… Who would? I'm just a baka neko, like everyone says," Kyo said.
"Kyo, you're not a baka neko.. And I do love you. I've loved you since the day in the woods whe I thought you were a stalker," Tohru told him.
"Really?" Kyo asked, amazed at his own luck.
"Really," Tohru told him.
And then Kyo kissed her. It was the first of what would be many kisses, but also one of the happiest.
THE END!
