Lol bare with me this is the first time in 4 years I've written anything much less for Aveyond.. IF you like I'll go dig up my old accounts so you can see what I used to do.

It may be a bit OOC but death might take quite a bit out of people you know?

End of Gates of Night Before the start of The Lost Orb

It was all her fault. If only she had freed Stella before she poured what was left of her magic into the orb, then maybe Stella would be alive. There was a way. There must have been. Every bit of magic had a back door, all you needed to do was find it. And she hadn't bothered, she had thought of her self before the safety of the girl she had come to know, and care about.

"Stella quick! Active the orb before he can order you to stop!"

Those words haunted every waking moment of Mel's existence since.

Ironic really, that the one that Mel had been so jealous of, would turn out to be her best friend, and the one she trusted the most.

It wasn't supposed to end this way. Stella was supposed to find a way to get her wings back, she was supposed to return to Nalyith. It wasn't supposed to end this way.

Mel lay down on the bunk, silently weeping, as not to wake the others as she mourned for the friend she didn't have the chance to know.

It was all her fault.

Yea ok shoot me, that was short. Trying to get back into the writing scene. I feel as there is a lot that can be interpreted with the dialogue in this game. Also, a few hours to get back to Thais? How on earth? Anyways. Read and Review if you would
