I've been looking for this story for a while now but I can't find it, if anyone knows anything that wills be really helpful! All I can remember is that Damon was arrested for manslaughter for killing a guy that was abusing his mom, at the same time elena is in a relationship and is getting abused by the boyfriend. The story starts off with elena and stefan going to pick Damon up and I remember there was a fire and damons mum gets involved in splitting the up cause she believes that elena is just using him.
