Okay, so I know I should not be writing one-shots when I have other stories to write. But two one-shots popped into my head and they won't leave me alone! I need to hire Elmer Fudd to get rid of all these plot bunnies! ...Anyway, please Read and Review. I hope you like it!

Ren was terrified. He had invited Kyoko over for dinner on their third year anniversary and he just proposed to her. He sat there, kneeling on the floor, with a diamond ring in his outstretched hand. He stared into her eyes desperately, waiting for her response.
"I... I don't know" Kyoko sputtered.
She was wearing a beautiful pink flowing dress with a white cardigan hugging her shoulders. She was terrified. Had he really just proposed to her? Or was it a joke? No, it couldn't be a joke. He had stopped lying to her when he told her he was Kuon.
"Well... What's the problem?" Ren said still kneeling. He was not getting off the ground until she gave him a real answer.
What was the problem? Kyoko thought about it. She liked dating Ren. She likes when he holds her in his arms. She likes that she is the only one who knows Ren's true personality. She likes him. But she absolutely HATES the word love. It brings back many horrible memories of rejection. From Sho, Reino, and her mother. It was all too much! Maybe if they used a different word to describe their... attraction.
"Ren, I'd love to marry you," Kyoko began.
"But?" Ren said still kneeling on the ground.
"But I was wondering if instead of saying I l.. l.." Kyoko stumbled over her words.
"That you love me?" Ren said.
"Yeah. Do you think instead of saying that. We could say something else?" Kyoko said.
Ren finally stood up. He was sure that if a different word was all she needed to marry him than he would find her a different word.
Kyoko looked up surprised. "I've got it!" She said. She took a step towards Ren and he grabbed her hands.
"How about 'I see you'?" Kyoko said.
"Why?" Ren asked bluntly. Kyoko giggled.
"Because I am the only one who sees you as your true self, Hizuri Kuon. You have a short temper but a good strong heart. You don't like to eat because your mother is such a bad cook. You've been angry at your father for years but deep down you still love him. You would do anything to protect those you love. Including me. So I see you." Kyoko said.
"So you'll marry me?" Ren asked hurriedly.
"Of course!" Kyoko gushed.
Ren pulled her into a tight hug and spun her through the air. Both of them laughing and smiling. Until he finally set her down.
"Kyoko?" Ren said his arms still wrapped around her small waist.
"Yes?" She answered breathlessly.
Ren put his right hand on her collar bone. "I..." He moved his hand up to caress her cheek. "See..." He tilted her head up. "you." And their lips met.
Woo! Hope you like it! It's not my best but it just popped into my head randomly and I had to write it down.
Love, Pielovingchick
