"Most don't remember their birth", my sensei always told me.
He said "You should consider yourself lucky for Kami gracing you with such an ability as photographic memory."
Thats my sensei, The Professor.
A photographic memory is just lovely. It allows me the ability to actual analyze anything I've ever seen while only having to see it once. Whatever I see I can remember. Whatever I remember can be recalled in an instant, with perfect clarity. My sensei trained me into the ground so I would remember fighting styles upon seeing them. No one could do hand seals faster than I could spot them and with that I was able to pick up any jutsu. A Calculating genius my brother would call me. No one could process information better or faster than me. I can put a team of the best advisors to shame while playing shogi with a Nara and beating a Akimichi in an eating contest...blindfolded. My brain kept me on par with any dojutsu, but my heritage made me and my brother more powerful than all. We are Namikazians, feared, but not hated, welcomed, but never loved. We ride that fine line that separates a natural genius from a genius of hard work for we are both.
As I said before I remember everything: The moment I first opened my eyes, being in the crib next to my baby twin brother, my first kiss, becoming a shinobi, hell, I could even tell you what I ate for lunch 3 years 4 months and 5 days ago (ramen).
I also remember the day my brother and I tore through hundreds upon hundreds of rock village ninjas earning him a retreat on sight and me a pray to Kami battle order. Man...those were the days.
We were the fantastic duo, the terrible twins. My clan sponsored Konoha's rise to glory and my brother ,the idiot that he was, grew up to protect it all. He did things I couldn't no matter what abilities I hold.
He was my baby brother and out of everything I've ever seen the only thing I hate is having to watch my only brother sacrifice his life to stop Kyūbi no Yōkō ,'The legendary nine-tailed fox' ,from destroying our home village Konohagakure.
My brother ,the idiot, beat a demon king that is so powerful it is regarded as an age-old natural disaster. I've seen one of his tails flatten mountains. Some say a single swipe can raise tsunamis. This beast attacked my home country with no mercy, ravaging everything it came across. Hundreds of shinobi died trying to stop this monster from killing families, destroying crops, and my brother stopped him cold in his tracks with one life, two seals, and a child. My nephew carries a burden no one should bear for sealed inside of him is that same legendary fox that attacked Konoha.
You see I would consider myself lucky for having a photographic memory, but, every time I close my eyes I have to watch my brother die while I raced to his lifeless body falling through the air holding the only family I had left.
Let me tell you what exactly went down.
