Sitting under a tree to keep cool and to get a rest. He noticed Karin. It was always Sasuke this and Sasuke that with her. She'd do the silliest things to get Sasuke to notice her and those high heels ugh did they make a lot of noise.
"You don't know how stupid you look in heels your always tripping over them." he told her with a smirk watching her make her way towards Sasuke. When he said that she turned around and screeched a
"What did you say shark boy."
"I said..." "I know what you said."
"You know you'll never get Sasuke to notice you." She ran after him but he grabbed her hands before she could hit him
"And after he hurt you why do you still follow him."
"I … I don't know." she stuttered and her shoulders started shaking she started crying. Suigetsu was surprised and started to freak out.
" I...I...I'm sorry just stop crying will ya?" he practically yelled shaking her which made her cry more then she already was. Then he closed his eyes.
'Where is your boy tonight I hope he is a gentlemen. Maybe he won't find out what I know you were the last good thing about this part of town.'
Sighing a frustrated sigh he said
"Why don't we just leave that jerk. I mean really look he has already left us behind." her head shot up eyes red from crying . Suigetsu covered his head getting ready for the punch that never came. Sure enough there was no Sasuke or Juugo in sight. Then he put his hands down. She just stared at the ground.
"Why?"
"Well we've got to do something we can't just sit.."
"I meant why does everything happen to me."
"I'll tell you a secret." he said whispering in her ear with a smirk before taking a sip of his water. Karin blushed and turned her head towards him. Then he said.
" NOOOO I'm out of water!" He said while shaking each cup by his ear and then running to the nearest stream.
" Suigetsu!" she yelled running after him. She found him refilling his cups.
"Suigetsu don't ever do that again." she said while folding her arms.
"You've done it plenty of times to me."
"S...o...o all this was to get back at me!" she said while running off angry. He ran after her.
"You want to know that secret now?" he whispered in her ear.
"I've only stayed with Sasuke to protect you." he whispered.
"Then where were you when he hurt me." not believing him.
"One you led me down the wrong path I ended up in another village, and two sasuke had to have someone make sure Juugo doesn't go on a killing rampage. Juugo found me and when we got back we saw you on the ground covered in blood and Sasuke fighting Danzo."
" I still don't believe you though."
"Then I'll just have to prove it." smirking once again as he walked towards Karin.
"What are you do...?" she didn't get to finish Suigetsu had backed her up against a tree and both his hands were on the side of her face. He was kissing her! When he pulled away. She yelled
" That was my first kiss you idiot! That was supposed to be Sasuke's!" When she saw the look on his face she started laughing.
"I got you. That's for back at the river." Then he got angry
"I'll come with you" she said
"What?"
"Your question earlier about leaving Sasuke and going on our own. I will go with you." He just was shocked so many emotions in just a few seconds. Karin walked up to him
"Just kiss me." she said. So he did...
' You need him I could be him. I'm still trying which is more than I can say for him.'
They went to the mist village to collect Suigetsu's swords much to Karin's protests. After he was satisfied they moved into a home in the mist village. Eventual married. Three little Karins running around the house.
