This is just a little something that popped in my head. It's a little one-shot to go with Dr Reid and Dr Lewis.

This is set two month's after the twins have been born and before Reid and Casey are married.

Just something silly

Jennifer Haley Reid's lullaby

Reid was reading when he heard his daughter's cry from the nursery through the baby monitor. Both his children were now two months old. He waited for a moment to see if she calmed down herself but he knew it was time to go and soothe Jennifer. Reid noticed Casey beginning to stir.

"Casey it's alright, I've got it" he whispered before kissing her on the forehead. He recieved a small groan as a reward. He smiled slightly before getting out of bed and making his way to the nursery.

He walked and picked up a fussy and upset Jennifer, he looked over to Gideon and was amazed that his son was able to sleep through the noise.

'He must get that from his mother' Reid thought.

"Shhhhhhh...It's alright" Reid said as he began to walk around with her, he rubbed her back and tried to soothe her. Jennifer continued to cry in Reid's arms. He checked her diaper and saw she didn't need changing, she had only had a feed an hour before so she couldn't be hungry. She just seemed to be incredibly fussy.

Reid looked at his daughter and started to sing without realising it.

'Little baby, Little angel. Always remember that I'm right here, I'm watching over you. No matter what happens, I'll be there, I'll be your daddy till the end of time. You can be whatever you want to be, And daddy will always be proud of you. Little baby, Little angel, I love you and I always will" Reid sang softly.

He continued to sing as he noticed Jennifer begin to fall asleep on his shoulder. He sang the lullaby two more times before putting his daughter back into her crib.

Reid walked out of the nursery to find Casey leaning against the wall by the door.

"That was a beautiful lullaby Spencer" she smiled before kissing him on the cheek.

"It just came to me" Reid smiled as he gave Casey a loving kiss on her lips.

"Come on back to bed" Casey said as she grabbed Reid's hand and started to lead him back to their room. Reid grabbed the baby monitor from the side and went back to bed with his fiancee.

After that night he had no doubts about being a great father to his children.
