Make You Notice

A little look into Peeta's thouts covering the first book. Very sketchy, a little drabble and possibly doesn't make sense. Inspired by Use Somebody by Kings of Leon. Peeta does everything for her to Notice him. Songfic I suppose, or really bad poetry.

Make You Notice

Don't look down. Big smiles, head up.

There was so much to see. People fill the area as far as the eye could see. Painted faces fill the streets, they're all so close yet out of reach.

I can't do this. Not by myself. I need somebody.

I know who I need. She's beside me, fidgety and nervous as she goes to speak. I need her wisdom, her experience of the wilderness.

We can do this. I can get her out alive.

My turn to talk. This should make you notice me. A simple confession is all we need.

The crowd is wild. Love? Could it be?

I need you to believe me, play along.

I never thought it would end this way. By your side at the end, back to back ready to defy the Capitol.

I would have done it.

This is what they'll write books and songs about in our future.

The girl on fire and the boy who loved her. How they walked away together. Live it up.

Look down now Katniss; smile to the crowd, all you see is change. Something big will happen now.
