Eren was on the verge of panicking. It's a wonder how he stayed sane for so long considering the fact that they were in the middle of a forest with no nothing with them to keep them alive. 'They' as in Eren and Corporal Levi.

Honestly speaking? Eren was terrified that the corporal will kill him if he did anything wrong to make their situation even worse. He didn't exactly know how they ended up like this in the first place. The corporal was pissed before. Now, he looked like he wanted to throw anyone who came within a 10 feet radius around him to hell.

Eren hoped that when they got back to the safety of the walls, he wouldn't have to deliver a death sentence. From what he could see, he was probably making Levi's wound to become worse to even more worse by doing nothing. But that wasn't his fault? The corporal looked like he wanted to kill him!

Levi was currently laying on the ground. From the moment he gained consciousness, he knew that Eren wouldn't be able to do anything without messing things up. They became separated from Erwin and the others long ago. It's been too long to keep expecting them to come back. Worse case scenario is they still didn't have a clue where they were or they probably assumed that that they were okay and well and are on their way back. Eren couldn't even shift no matter how many times he bit his hand in the last five minutes. Useless.

Levi sighed. At this rate, they were going to be eaten before dark. Luckily, he was able to make use of his cloak and managed to wrap the large hole in his torso without passing out. He'll live for now.

"Oi brat."

Eren turned from where he sat. Very far from where Levi was. The corporal grunted as he attempted to get up while leaning against the tree beside him. It wasn't safe for them to be on the ground despite being surrounded with tall trees that could easily hide them. "We have to move."

Eren understood and quickly got up from where he was sitting. Brushing off invisible loose dirt from his pants, he jogged over to the corporal. When Eren was beside him, Levi glared at him for being so close.

"Help me up." Levi said. He voice was monotone and his face was straight. All that while his makeshift bandages were turning impossibly reder (thats probably not a word..) than they already were.

"A-are you sure? We could jus-"

"Up." Eren never felt so much pressure from a simple word before. That just goes to show how scary humanity's strongest was... is.

Eren suddenly became more aware as he helped Levi to stand. It was a poor attempt to stand, as Levi was leaning most of his weight against Eren. As much as he didn't want to, he had to.

"Uh.. W-where to?" Eren asked. He wasn't bothered by the extra weight but he clearly uncomfortable that the extra weight was his boss.

"Just find a place that can be used as shelter," Levi muttered. He winced as they started to slowly trudge through the forest.

Worst day of his life.

~~~
Naruto hummed an unfamiliar tune softly as she set down the two bowls of soup onto the wooden table. She went back to the drawers to grab two spoons. She set one down next to each bowl.
As Naruto wiped her hands on a clean rag, she stepped quietly across to small living room towards the porch. She saw Sasuke leaning forwards on the stairs carving something again out of the smaller pieces of the wood that he brought from the forest surrounding the open area of grass they were on.
"Sasuke~"
Sasuke looked up and turned slightly towards the direction of the voice that called him.
Sasuke looked back at the open sky before standing up.
Naruto looked at his face and saw a sad look paint his eyes. It's been a few years now, since they became stranded in another dimension. Naruto wouldn't have believed it herself if she hadn't tried to venture out to see if anyone could help them. She remembered clearly the large beings towering over her before she quickly ran back to where Sasuke was, still dazed. They adjusted to life here now. So far, even after a few year, there were no signs of other humans other than her and Sasuke. On some nights she wondered how her friends were doing. Naruto tried her best to hide it, but she missed them deeply. Sure, she loved Sasuke and she was happy to know that he loved her back as well. But, you know? Being alone and having no contact with any other human being like themselves was scary. She remembered the countless nights where she stayed up all night crying her eyes out. Sasuke stayed up with her.
At least she wasn't alone.
"You okay?" Naruto's face came in view. Sasuke offered a smile.
"I'm fine. Let's go eat." They both walked towards the table and sat down in their respective places.
"Itadakimasu!" Naruto said. She took her spoon eagerly and took a sip. Sasuke watched her, amused. Her eyes lit up and a large grin appeared on her face. She quickly stuffed more spoonfuls of the soup. Naruto frowned and lifted the bowl instead, drinking the soup as she would drink water.
"Sasuke. This is so good. Why aren't you eating!? You're missing out!!" Naruto said as she went towards the large pot of soup hanging over the fire in the fireplace. The flames weren't as strong as before, but it still kept the soup warm.
"Seconds~!" Naruto said giddily and sat back down across Sasuke with a once again full bowl.
She saw Sasuke looking at her with a smirk.
"What?" she asked.
"Hn."
"Teme... What have I told you about saying that."
Sasuke smiled. "Not to say it?"
Naruto sighed and broke into a small laugh.
"Wow."
Naruto finished her soup and started scrubbing it with soap in the clean water that filled the large bucket near the fireplace. Sasuke followed after as he drained the last of the warm liquid holding his empty bowl and spoon. He bent down next to her and kissed her head softly.
"I love you."
Naruto stopped scrubbing and smiled, looking down at the bubbles in the water. It's been a while since she heard those words. It felt good to hear them again. It reminded her that she wasn't alone.
"I love you, too," she whispered quietly.
They sat like that, not wanting to move or break their peaceful moment.
BANG BANG BANG!
Naruto flinched at the loud noises.
Sasuke glared at the door before standing up. He was not happy.
Naruto stood up with him, wiping her hands on her pants. She led the way towards the door. Just as she was about to open it, Sasuke pushed her back.
"Hey!" Naruto huffed, but she knew Sasuke was only trying to protect her from whatever was behind the door.
Suddenly, a muffled voice sounded from the otherside.
"IS ANYONE THERE!?!? PLEASE!I NEED HELP!"
BANG BANG BANG!
"Sasuke.." Naruto breathed.
Sasuke opened the door a crack before gasping. Naruto did the same as well when she saw who was there.
People! Human beings!
Injured human beings.
There was a young man with chocolate brown hair and the brightest green eyes that she had ever seen. He was panting heavily with another man against him. The one leaning against the brunette had short black hair and a sharp looking jaw. His eyes were a piercing grey, half open. He was barely conscious. They were both well built, like they worked out or something.
"Oh my goodness! Sasuke!" Naruto said and she quickly leaned the raven haired man against her while Sasuke helped the brunette. The raven haired man had cloth wrapped around his midsection and she could see the blood dripping from the makeshift bandages.
Naruto quickly led him towards the middle of their living room and carefully laid him down, making sure not to aggravate the wound further.
"Please.." the brunette gasped. "You have to help him. He can't die." Sasuke had set him down on a chair so he wouldn't collapse.
"Oi. Help yourself first." Sasuke shoved a cup of purified water towards the brunette. The brunette looked up at him and then to the cup.
"Th- thank you.." he said quietly. He seemed to have calmed down. That's good.
Naruto got to work. "Don't worry. You're friend's not gonna die tonight."
~~~

Eren felt uncomfortable under the gaze of the midnight haired man. His eyes were calculating and sharp. Eren swore that he saw one of the eyes turned red.

He looked at the young blonde girl bandaging Levi with clean gauze. Her eyes were bright blue and there were three lines going off her face on both sides. They looked like whiskers. Eren gazed around the small house. It was .. homey. Comfortable looking. Almost everything was made of wood. He was sure that they made all the things here from the trees in the forest nearby.

When Eren first saw the small house in the open sea of grass, he thought he was hallucinating, with him being desperate for help. He knew he shouldn't get any closer in case of any titans chasing them in the wide open. Though seeing as there weren't any titans around, Eren just had to make sure if the house wasn't a trick of his exhausted eyes. When he felt the hard wood under his skin, he knew it was real.

As soon as that registered in his mind, he had started banging on the door shouting for help. All of him wanted to believe someone lived here even though that was impossible.

And here he was with two very alive people in top condition.

Eren shook his head, ridding himself of all the bothersome thoughts.

"W-will he be okay now?" Eren was surprised at how quiet his voice became. It was probably the exhaustion that caught up to him.

The girl looked up and gave a smile. "Don't worry! He's gonna be just fine! He'll need a ton of rest but other than that.. yea." The blonde got up and disappeared into another room. Not a minute later she was our carrying a blanket. She gently covered Levi with it and pulled it up to his collarbone.

Seeing that he was in the clear now, Eren sighed. Then he remembered.

"Oh! I haven't introduced myself yet. My name's Eren... Yeager."

"Eren Yeager? Awesome name," the girl said as she walked towards him and the raven haired tall guy. She sat in another chair beside Eren and pulled at her hairtie. Her loose blonde hair fell down to just below her shoulders. She looked at Eren straight in the eyes and grinned, holding out a hand to him.

"Naruto Uzumaki. Nice to meet you. This here's Sasuke Uchiha." She leaned in and whispered. "Don't get on his bad side."

Eren took her hand hesitantly. Naruto shook it and Eren was amazed at how much strength she held.

The ma- Sasuke smirked and left towards the small kitchen area.

Naruto watched him go and turned towards Eren. She grabbed Eren's hand with both hands. "Seeing as how your friend needs a lot of rest.. how about you stay with us for a bit?" She looked down at Eren's hands. "It's been so long since we saw another human."

Eren felt a pull at his heart strings. The gi- Naruto looked like she was going to break any moment. She looked fragile, nothing like the person she was moments before.

"Sorry." She stood up and pulled Eren up along with her. "You look exhausted. Let's get you washed up and asleep."

Eren's eyes widened. "W-wait! Are you sure it's okay? No titans will attack or anything!? What if you get eaten?"

Naruto quirked an eyebrow. Sasuke joined her, arm around her waist. She looked up at him. "They're called .. titans."

"Hn."

Eren was confused. So they ..were safe?? But how?

"It's okay. We've survived out here for years. We're all completely safe, you and your friend included." She got free of Sasuke's arm and went to him and took his wrist. "It's late, so I'll show you where you can sleep. Unless.. you wanna be with you're friend?" Naruto gestured to Levi on the carpet.

"Uh... I think I'll stay with Levi...? You know.. just to be safe... in case.." Naruto smiled, giving off another large grin. "That's fine."

"I'll get another blanket." Sasuke left.

"While he's doing that, let's get you washed. You're filthy." Eren grumbled as he let himself get dragged away by the girl. She walked him outside.

"Sit. It's getting dark so the sooner the faster the better." She grabbed a large bucket of freshwater that was left out to collect rain. She set it down next to where Eren sat down on the lone short, three legged stool.

"Okay. I'm gonna go and get some of Sasuke's spare clothes that might fit you. Wash yourself clean. There's soap over there."

Eren felt weird wearing foreign clothes. The clothes were also comfortable. He didn't really have the luxury of wearing clothes like this back within the walls.

Naruto walked towards Levi and sat down near his head. She also changed into thicker clothes. The nights were probably cold here. "Sit down." She patted the empty space next to her.

Eren followed and sat. He felt strange looking at humanity's strongest, unconscious and vulnerable.

"When will he wake up?"

"umm.. I'm not sure. I'm not that good at fixing people up."

"You fixed a gaping hole in him," Eren deadpanned.

"Uh... hehe."

Sasuke came in holding a blue blanket.

"Here." Sasuke tossed it and Naruto caught it with ease. She unfolded the blanket and draped it on Eren's shoulders.

"Do we have another carpet? Or extra sheets would be okay, too." Sasuke nodded and went towards a different room. He came back with a large thick looking blanket.

Sasuke laid it out next to Levi and went to the fireplace, replacing the old logs with fresh new ones.

Naruto pointed her head towards the thick sheet and Eren took that as a get in?.

He slowly inched himself towards the sheet and laid himself down. He loved the feeling instantly. Though he was technically lying down on the floor, he felt like he was on an actual bed. He wrapped the blanket around himself tighter.

"Thank you." Naruto looked at him.

"We'll talk more in depth tomorrow. Just sleep."

Eren nodded and let his already heavy eyelids fall, covering his green eyes.

~~~
Naruto sat down on a rug nearby the two guests. She was relieved that she had taken medical lessons from the old hag and Sakura. More so that she was able to patch the ma- Levi was it?- Levi up.
Sasuke came over and offered her a cup of tea. "Thanks, teme. Didn't know you had the heart."
"Don't worry about it dobe. It's reserved for you." She smiled into the cup and sipped. It was warm and it soothed her after all that happened in less than a day.
Sasuke sat on his knees behind her and she felt strong hands on her shoulders. She sighed contently as he massaged her shoulders, getting all the tense muscles to relax.
"Omegash. That felzsogud," she moaned.
"Hn."
Sasuke shifted towards her right side and she leaned on his shoulder. They were facing the direction of Eren and Levi's heads.
"Where do you think they came from?" she whispered, not wanting to wake them up. Though it wasn't likely after what happened to the both of them.
Sasuke was silent. He was probably trying to think of an answer.
"Same."
Naruto set her cup down on the ground away from the rug and laid down, resting her head on Sasuke's lap. Sasuke gladly let her and started playing with her hair.
"Do you think there's more of them? People, I mean."
"Probably. I don't think they're capable of making clothes of that quality."
They stayed like that, happy in each other's comforting presence before Naruto yawned, stretching out her arms.
"Goodnight.."
Sasuke leaned forward and gently kissed her forehead.
"Goodnight."
Naruto closed her eyes. She heard faint rustling and felt something cover her body.
Warm.
She never felt so hopeful in her life.
