Preface -
The Dragon Warrior stared out at the sky as he sat under the mystical peach tree of heavenly wisdom.
He took in deep breaths as the Chi flowed through his body, listening to the whispers of the tortoise as the pink peddles swirled around him.
"Who are you panda?" The whisper asked.
"I am Po, The Dragon Warrior, successor of Oogway, the bringer of peace to Kung Fu."
The whisper began to turn into that of a growl.
"Tell me again panda, who are you?"
"I am Po, The Dra-"
His voice cut off as he grabbed at his throat, the air unable to enter his lungs.
"You are not Po. You are Little Lotus, and The Dragon Warrior is a title that doesn't belong to you. Say you're not The Dragon Warrior, and maybe I'll spare your life, as well as the lives of those around you!"
Fear struck the panda as he struggled to get the unknown force to let go of him.
"Say it Little Lotus! Give up what was never yours to begin with!"
The presence of the tortoise completely vanished, replaced by that of a more ancient, and evil entity.
"Never!" The panda shouted with the little air he had left.
He felt the Chi disappear from his body, as well as the grasp from his throat. Falling against the peach tree, he watched as The Valley of Peace was utterly destroyed by a giant fireball. The Jade Palace fell, as well as The Five, who seem to be in the same state as Po. He watched as all of China was consumed, and possibly the whole world itself.
The ground fell beneath him, and the last thing he perceived was the peach tree losing all of its peddles and falling apart until it was complete ash, as was everything around it.
...
The panda screamed as he awoke from his slumber. He could still feel the heat of the flames around him as he sat up in his bed.
Quickly, the door to his room slammed open, revealing The Furious Five, all taken aback by the scream of their panda friend. Tigress was the first to approach him.
"Po! Po, what's wrong!?" Tears filled her eyes as she watched the panda heave for air.
He quickly composed himself and stared at The Five.
"Something is coming." Was the only thing he could utter.
