The wind howls and shrieks, rattling the windows with such force the girl has never seen before. The lights flicker, and the gentle hum of the radiator halts for a few moments before starting up again. The cold rain pelts against the windows, and the girl knows that it's not her paranoia when she feels the temperature drop.

The girl tries to burrow her body deeper into the couch, clamping her hands over her ears in a feeble attempt to block out the noise. Her eyes are shut tightly as she shakes. The girl never liked storms, especially hurricanes. A small whimper escaped her lips as her trembling increased. A small chuckle from above pulls her away from her frightened daze. She opens her eyes slowly to see blue eyes staring down at her in amusement. The person drops a woolen blanket atop her and kneels down on the floor in front out. The person reaches out and brushes away a strand of hair from the girl's face.

"Just why are you this scared?" He murmurs, taking hold of her hand. "It's only a storm."

The girl smiles and closes her eyes once again. She grips his hand and lets her body relax from its previous tense state. 'Only he has this calming effect sometimes.' She thinks with a small giggle. Her gold eyes open as she stares at him with a loving expression. She tugs at his hand and frowns, suddenly feeling anxious of the possibility of him leaving.

"Stay with me, Ikuto." A chuckle from the man is the only response she gets before she feels a fleeting second of warmth on her head. Amu's smile appears again as she feels the man's grip on her hand tighten.

"Where would I go?"
