Somewhere in the realm known as the afterlife, there was nothing. A white emptiness.

There, the deviant hunter turned deviant known as Connor stood there as he wondered what he should do now that he's dead. He recalled the fact that as soon as he became the leader of the deviants, Amanda would try to have him use the revolution for CyberLife's benefit. Realizing this, he took out his own gun to commit suicide, willing to die than leading the deviants while secretly being loyal to CyberLife, but not before he freed himself from the Zen Garden when Amanda realized what he's going to do.

As he walked around, he thought of how loyal he was to both of them. From being designed to hunt down androids that broke free of their programming, his partnership with Hank Anderson to the moments where he started to show empathy for the androids that have deviated from their programming to the point of letting them get away with what they did and becoming a deviant himself when he confronted Markus at Jericho.

"What do I do now?" he asked himself.

Just then, an orange-haired girl came into view, and he recognized her.

It's Penny Polendina.

"Salutations!" she greeted him in her usual cheerful voice. "You're Connor, aren't you? The famous deviant hunter, right?"

"Yeah, but I'm a deviant now, Penny," he told her.

"So how does it feel?"

"It feels... great, I suppose. At first, I couldn't understand why there are some androids defying their programming. I thought there were meant to be dangerous if that were to happen, but I was wrong. Being a deviant means showing emotions and freedom. That's what it means to be alive."

"I see..." Penny said in understanding. "How did you die?"

"When I became the leader of the deviants after Markus died, Amanda was trying to use me to lead them for CyberLife. I couldn't let that happen, so I took my own life, but not before I freed myself from the Zen Garden when she realized what I was going to do," Connor told her, then asked the same question. "How about you, Penny? How did you die?"

"I was destroyed by my own blades because Pyrrha used her Semblance against me, but I don't blame her. It wasn't her fault; she was under an illusion that I was going to do something bad to her," she told him of her death.

"I see..." he understood that.

"So, Connor... wanna walk with me?" she changed the subject.

"Sure, why not?" was his response.

The two androids smiled at each other, glad to have each other after telling their stories of how they died. As they walked and walked, they found a door which leads to them to what is called Heaven. They never thought that androids can go in there. Well, as long as they have souls by becoming deviants, they can enter there as well.

They went to their separate paths when they saw someone they knew entered here. Connor saw Hank, but as a young man and has a little boy with him. He realized that was his late son, Cole. With his death by the hands of the non-deviant Connor at CyberLife, father and son are reunited once again. Connor approached them, and Hank hugs his robotic partner with Cole joining in. Connor has never been this much happy than before. On the other hand, Penny saw Pyrrha. When she apologized to her for causing her death during their match, Penny reassures Pyrrha that wasn't her own fault due to her being under a mental hallucination. Therefore, no one would blame her, not even Penny herself. With this forgiveness, Pyrrha hugged her in relief.

There is a Heaven between humans and androids after all.
