Hey, guys! I know it has been a long time... and I really missed writing for you, but to be honest, I got really bored with my other stories, and I am sorry for that, but this story has been something that I have been thinking about for a long time. What would happen if Draco was in Gryffindor? Would he had a chance with Hermione? Well, if you want to know, read on!

The first day of school has always been exciting for Hermione, especially since today was the first day of her last year. She couldn't believe it was her last year, after all these years it will soon be over. This summer really changed her, and with the help of Ginny, she started to have some fun and stopped worrying about her grades that much.
"What classes did you take, Ginny?" Hermione asked, as she watched Ginny pick out her clothes for today, which was always a long process, well Ginny was a very girly-girl. She looked at her blankly and raised her eyebrow.
"Sorry, what?" the redhead asked, confused. Hermione chuckled softly. Of course Ginny did not listen, lately she didn't listen to anything anyone was saying after her break-up with Harry. "Sorry 'Mione, I just have a lot on my mind. You know..." Hermione nodded, she understood what Ginny was going through because she was going through the exact same. Her and Ron broke-up months ago but it was still very awkward between them, he had a new girlfriend already and she had to look at their PDA everyday whenever she wanted to sit with her friends. Her thoughts had stopped when Neville ran up to their common room and yelled;
"Emergency assembly in the Great Hall!" and as soon as he yelled everyone was up on their feet and ran out of the common room. Hermione slowly stood up and dragged Ginny out of their common room.

As Hermione sat down, she noticed that Ron was sitting all alone without his stupid girlfriend, Ginny was talking to Neville about an assignment they had for potions (the sixth years and seventh years had classes joined due to the war making them miss one year.) and Harry was trying to make a conversation with Dean.
"Good afternoon! I called you all up here to announce a new law that has been passed on from the Ministry of Magic!" Dumbledore called out from the podium. The Great Hall filled with chatter and voices. Hermione looked at Ron and Harry with wide eyes, she hated change. "The Ministry has made some changes, after the war, they require peace and in order to do that... it is called 'The House Exchange Project' in order to keep peace and learn to accept other people's differences." with that, he looked at the Slytherin table. "Everyone is going to be sorted into a new house or stay in their old one in some circumstances, but most likely, you will be sorted into a new house." Dumbledore sat down ignoring the students screaming and shouting over eachother.
