Chapter 1 It was 1943,Lt. Mack was training some soldiers back at base. I was on a secret mission with Pvt James and Cpl Kelly. We were in a German building disguised as Nazi soldiers. My neck was filled with sweat as we went into the laboratory, as we searched for the Intel we needed a distraction Cpl Kelly found a piece of wood and a match. Cpl Kelly asked
Why is there a piece of wood and a match here
Pvt James replied
How should I know I'm not a smart ass
After they took the Intel a German Officer stared at us, we stood there until he gave up. We ran to the jeep and floored it. Lt. Mack greeted us, plane dropped by some supplies for us. All of us rested at base for the night. Creepy noises echoed the base. Nobody wanted to check what was outside so this guy Sgt. Alan volunteered
If nobody is going outside then look like I'm your choice
Lt. Mack answered
