I know that somedays I must frustrate you when I spook and bolt, but your steady hand of patience has a cooling effect on my hot temper. I'm fast and my speed has helped you survive many a meeting with belligerent men who wanted to take your life, as well as helped you apprehend many a murderer and thief. You pay meticulous attention to my shiny chestnut coat; you always keep it shining it's brightest and you take pride in my appearance. I still may be relatively young yet, Adam, but I know that if you have much patience, we can grow and learn together. We make a wonderful team, you and I.
