Trivial Information

-I don't own any of the following characters, the storyline has been somewhat borrowed from a movie, which I don't want to name because I would want to ruin any of the story for those who have or haven't seen it.

-I have a very busy life and barely have the time to even right this. So if there are grammar mistakes or if it isn't in html or computer reading format I'm sorry, so please don't email me telling me so.

-Please review!!

Everyday we make choices and whether or not we realize it these choices affect our lives and forever change them with unforeseen consequences. These choices might make you successful in life, unfulfilled, or maybe both. But what if you were given a second chance, a glimpse of how your life might be a little different had you made your choices a little differently.

-1990 Gotham International Airport

The terminals of Gotham International Airport were crowded with hundreds of people going too and forth to their flights. Through the windows planes with distinations unknown could be seen taking off. Barbara sat in her seat watching them wondering where they could be going and who was aboard them. Perhaps a family heading off to Orlando or a couple off to Metropolis for the weekend, whatever the case may be she could see the Boeing Jet from her seat that would take Dick away from her and to Japan for an entire year. She glanced over at him, sitting there with his arm around her. She gazed down at his brown shoes, then followed up his khaki pants, then to his plaid shirt and brown overcoat, definitely not the most fashionable dresser but she loved him regardless. His curly shaggy mop of a hair hung in his face just above his brow. She tossed her hair and looked off to the flight attendant calling off rows over the intercom. As soon as Dick heard his row called off he jumped up from his seat grabbing his carry-on at the same time. The two turned to each other simultaneously neither wanting to say goodbye. "Well I guess this is it, in just a couple of hours I'll be in Japan," he tried to sound brave but she knew better. He leaned over giving her a kiss, "I call you as soon as I get there." Tears started streaming down Barbara's face as Dick walked out of her life. Even though the two had agreed that it would only be a year she couldn't but help feel that it would be forever. "Dick wait," he turned instantly at the sound of her voice. "Look," she started, "Dick don't go." "What is it, do you have a bad feeling about the plane?" "No, I have a feeling... that... if you step on that plane I'll never see you again." He looked at her and scooped her up in his arms. "Look, I love you and a year in Japan is not going to change that. I've been hired by one of the best firms in Tokyo, which will get me connections. And you, you've been accepted to one of the top laws schools in the country. Bab's, remember the plan." She looked down not wanting to give up, "But Dick, why don't we just forget the plan, let's make a new plan. Starting today, we take one day at a time. We can get a place together..." before she could say another word Dick passionately kissed her. For a moment she thought she had changed his mind, but then he pulled away and before she could utter a word he told her he loved her and would call her when he got there. She watched him turn his back to her and walk down the tunnel and out of site and out her life, perhaps forever.
