Bike Ride
At first, Otogi had insisted that he would be fine holding the back handles when Honda had offered him a ride on his motorbike to a restaurant across town, where Otogi was to meet the CEO of an American games company. He had continued to insist that he would be okay just holding onto the bike, so Honda was forced to give up.
There had been a lot of traffic that day, which Honda had woven through quickly with ease. Admittedly, he hadn't slowed down as much as he should have on roundabouts or going through the small, winding streets. But Otogi couldn't be late. After all, these meetings were very important.
The last straw for Otogi had been when Honda had not slowed down properly for a speed bump, and the motorbike had flown a few inches into the air, (and landed rather impressively, Honda felt). That had been when Otogi had abandoned his tight grip on the bike and clung to Honda for dear life.
Honda heard Otogi's shout of "you're doing it on purpose!" But because it had been muffled by the helmet, and there was the roar of the wind as they sped along, he could easily pretend that he hadn't heard. Considering what Otogi's mood would undoubtedly be, Honda decided it was a good thing that he couldn't see his wide grin.
