A Day in the Life – G-Man
"Rise and shine, Mr. Freeman."
"Rise and shine."
After starting Freeman on his appointed journey, the G-man cocked his head, as if hearing a sound from a great distance.
"Fine." And he disappeared.
The G-man appeared in a vast, endless room. In front of him were five floating shadows.
'Is it done?' A female voice.
"Yes. The Freeman has begun his task."
'Good'
Another voice. 'What about the project?' This voice had a more metallic timbre.
"Things are proceeding according to plan. The subject will be ready in time."
'Very good, Gxy'tlas. Return to the Freeman. Keep an eye on him.'
"Of course." And he disappeared.
'Events are proceeding nicely. The General will be pleased.'
