A/N:

FIRST FANFIC!Yay! I wrote this in May of 2011, after getting bored at a baseball game. Sometimes if I'm bored, I will imagine what could happen if the TARDIS materialized in front of me. It's fun.

The unmistakable sound eased it's way through the relaxed atmosphere of the baseball game. Then the big blue box appeared in right field. The audience was still, stunned by the unexpected interruption, while the players continued, unaware. With a creak, the doors opened and a man poked his head out.
Just then, the batter hit the ball right into the box, just above the man's head. He ducked, glanced at the damage and yelled back, "You hit the Time Rotor!"
As this transpired, a teenage girl was watching and recognized the man and his box. So she grabbed her backpack and took off towards him, leaving her confused friends behind.
She stopped in front of him and the box, positively beaming.
"Doctor, it's wonderful to finally meet you." She shakes his hand, "And I'd be honored to travel with you in the amazing TARDIS."
The Doctor smiled and held out his hand to her, "Then, come on. You've a lot to see and a lot more to learn about this big wibbly-wobbly-ness we call life!"
He pulled her inside, the doors shut, and then it left as suddenly as it came.

The next day, the headlines read, "Teen Girl Abducted By Man In A Disappearing Police Box!"
