They came here every year on this day, five years it had been now. This day marked their fifth anniversary, a happy and sad day. Their wedding rings were that of their Gundams. He wore a gold one with a little black trimming and she wore a silver one that had a blue gem in it. The black came from Deathsythe Hell Custom and the blue from Marina Custom. That was also part of that day, they destroyed two of their best friends.

"Duo, do you ever think about them?"

"All the time."

After their wedding they didn't have a reception, they went to the cove where they had meet, a former Oz base was a little from there. They were waiting, their best friends, Marina and Deathsythe. They knew they had to do this, now was a time of peace and they were no longer needed.

"Well I'll see you around buddy boy."

"Bye sweetie, they'll always be a place in my heart for you."

Together they pushed the dedanation switch, and for once Death blew up.

"I'm going to miss then Du-koi."

He stared into his blue haired lovers eyes, "Me too baby, me to. They're no longer need though, and neither are we."

"You're right, maybe we'll be normal for once."

"Yes, but we always have a peace of them here with us," he grabed her hand with her wedding ring on it and squeezed.

They kissed as the sun set over the remains of their beloved friends.

"What are we going to do now koi? The government will no longer support the Preventers."
"We'll just have to find something else to do, maybe we can teach one of those courses that are given about the Eve Wars."

"Maybe."

"I miss Deathsythe."

"I miss Marina too, but now we have a life with each other."

"You're right."

"Ai shitaru zutto Ami-koi."

"Ai shitaru zutto mucha Du-koi."

Duo couldn't help but laugh as her eyes shined brightly mocking him, they craved a kiss. They kissed as the sun set over the remains of their beloved friends. After they threw roses onto the beach, when the tide came it would wipe them away along with the painful memories of the war.
