Lydia was getting frustrated, she had rarely spent anytime with her girlfriend; Sarah but she wanted their relationship to work.
"I want it to work, I love you", she said slightly pleadingly
Sarah sighed, "It's complicated, I have to look after my niece"
Lydia smiled, "We could look after her together, we could make it work"
Sarah smiled, and nodded, "Yeah, we can"
Lydia grinned, "How about I help you with her?"
Sarah nodded and looked down at her niece, "Yeah, how bout we go to the park, eh?"
Lydia smiled and bent down to the little girl, "You wanna go to the park"
The little girl smiled, "Yes please!"
They laughed and took her to the park, knowing that if they wanted it to work, they could make it work.
